Yeah 3X's introduction reminds me more of Robert Miles' Children more than INA, but that's just me.

I prefer Eyes Wide Shut, but I also love Yeah 3x.. so I want them both to do well

Calvin Harris can be annoying with his sly digs on twitter:

CalvinHarris @ScottMills Haha certainly not! My pleasure to surrender that phrase to you. I'm an ideas man ask Chris brown or JLS

If he really has a big problem then he should contact them directly and not try and make them look bad over twitter

Edit: But then again this is the same guy that run onto the X Factor stage with a Pineapple on his head.. so can't really expect him to be sensible

Calvin Harris has gone down even more in my estimations... Although I still like his songs.

Seriously though, didn't Calvin Harris do that song that sampled a bunch of 80's songs?

I'm sorry but Calvin hardly invented euphoric synths in a song, clearly some people never heard trance before...

Anyway, I prefer Yeah 3x to Eyes Wide Shut.

Okay, give me an example of the song of which 'I'm not Alone' is a rip-off, with absolutely the same synths and the same melody. Yes, obviously Calvin didn't invent anything :P but Yeah 3x and Eyes Wide Shut use practically absolutely _the same_ melody and _the same_ synths as INA, just a little bit modified. They ridiculously sound the same and the rip-off is very blatant in my opinion. And I don't think Yeah 3x or Eyes Wide Shut would exist if I'm not Alone didn't exist. That said I don't deny my words that I love 'Eyes Wide Shut'.

Edit - gooddelta once gave an example but I didn't see some obvious similarities between the songs.

Yeah 3x and Eyes Wide Shut were quite clearly influenced by I'm Not Alone, but similarly Calvin was influenced by the hundreds and thousands of stabby synth trance songs that already exist - the irritating thing is that he walks around as if he invented the genre  I can see why he's annoyed that these two acts have copied his song as the melodies on all three are pretty similar, but for him to say that he's 'an ideas man' when the only idea he had was to bring this sort of trance back to the mainstream, is a bit over confident. It's not as if it was a pioneering new sound, this stuff was all over the charts 10 years ago

If he's expecting some sort of royalties from JLS and Chris Brown then I think hundreds of producers across Europe will find that they have a valid case to make against him as well...I can't find any examples that use the exact or even a similar melody to I'm Not Alone, but I could certainly dig out plenty of songs using that 'sound'.

That's exactly what annoys me about him. He acts as if he was the one to invent the sound and instead of speaking to the producers/them directly he makes indirect comments to make himself look good. I'd have more respect for him if he stepped away from the keyboard and actually spoke to them directly and then left it there

Maybe deep down he is just annoyed that JLS didn't use the track he produced for their album

"I was actually in the studio with JLS earlier this year - we made a song that sounds like 70s Michael Jackson - didn't make the album :(. Maybe i'll leak it on youtube LOL...! A shame that everybody is obsessed with trance synths now! Really cheap sounding ones too!! "

 Wow. Um, shouldn't he be happy about that? Oh no, people are obsessed with his type of music! How dreadful!

Adele - Someone Like You up to #20 :o What's with the sudden boost?

She now has 4 entries in the top 20 at 6 & 7 and 19 & 20.

Someone Like You #20 new peak! Has to make top 40 on Sunday right?

Must be just word of mouth, everyone's talking about Adele right now.

RITD #6 & #7

3 songs top 20! :D

 You made a little joke!

But in all seriousness I am glad he is in the top 10. The song is good and Whats My Name has gotten old now anyway

What's My Name will never ever ever get old. Am unhappy Chris beat Rihanna and knocked her out the top ten.

And what's with the big Matt Cardle boost, I'm sure it was low top 40 a few days ago. ADELE is stupid for not releasing SLY as her second single, it could enter the top 40 this week she might as well release it as soon as she can.

She was on Live Lounge today.

Thanks Rain, i didnt know that, been out all day, going to check it out now! :D

Matt performed on NTA's.

I can see why Adele would be holding back release of SLY till the last single release off '21'. It would be the best song to end on for '21' also its going to help sell the album with RITD doing so well, SLY already doing so well, and the incredible Set Fire To The Rain also very likely to do well, SFTTR would do really well. I wouldnt say it was stupid, i think rather smart actually. It does have to be a single though, she and the label knows that. :)

Rolling in the Deep album version now #6 with single version #7. B)

well pleased chris brown is top 10 - easily his best single to date!!!
Great for Chris :D I'm really not his biggest fan, but Yx3 is really good :o Hope F***ing Perfect goes top 10 at least, Pink's 2nd best song ever imo (behind Who Knew )
