How is the song (G&G) doing on UK radio?

Ok. Only R2 have her listed, it's around #80, it fell from #60 something. She needs to be on TV and the VOICE, BGT especially.

Heard Glitter And Gold on the radio this morning, sounds SO GOOD. Syco have really screwed up this campaign. Why release the snoozefest Nothing's Real But Love when you have max tracks like this up your sleeve?

Glitter & Gold is amazing, has been the highlight since I heard the album :wub: Had it been released first, it could've been a big top 5 hit, but they've messed up the campaign. It might miraculously peak low top 40 thanks to the BGT boost but it deserves #1.

G&G isnt going to be a hit. They've moved on from hopes of hits and just focussing on selling the album which has done well, and is doing well.

 

Teach Me How To Be Loved is beautiful, love that she performed that tonight.

Couldn't believe it when she performed TMHTBL, such a nice surprise. My favourite track on the album and it was a gorgeous performance.

Album #1 on iTunes, shame it won't be able to beat its original #3 peak as the boost came a little late into the week. What track did she perform on Alan Carr?

She performed on Alan Carr? I see! Is that why Glitter & Gold up to the 70s then I'm guessing and album #1 on iTunes!

yeah, she performed "Teach me..." on BGT, and "G&G" on Alan Carr... double whammy! The album is now #3 on iTunes but I'm sure it should make the top 5 this week if physicals have been that encouraging. The album will hopefully cross the 500K mark this week in the UK.

Up to number 5, her sales are very close to 500,000 now i should think with this weeks sales added.

Fabulous. Also looks like "Nothing's real" was performed by one of the Voice-Australia participants... the single and album are climbing again.

Has anyone else heard this track? It's taken from the US version of her album and I really like it on first listen.

 

 

I've heard that the album is being re-released with 'Backtrack' tacked on and released as a single [around Autumn time] but I'd rather she just moved onto the second album and put this on there as 'Heaven' has sold pretty well.

I love 'Backtrack', I have been listening to it for weeks and now it's becoming a bit of my summer anthem ! :wub:

Yeah, I've had "Backtrack" for a while now but only started listening to it properly since I got it in HQ. I'm loving it, it's like the same old Rebecca but with a bit more attitude. I'd like to hear a few more tracks like this on the next album. This is such a strong album, but I agree that she should move on and get recording the new one. She could become the most credible X Factor act in a few albums time.
