Is it actually being released in the US? :o Do you know like when? Have they played it on the radio there yet?

top 3 with a chance of number 1 over here, and maybe top 50 in the US with B.o.B's feature helping

still not really getting the hype with her -_-

The hype with her is because it's a story for the media to go on about.

The media aside, the amount of people that don't like her far out-weighs the amount of people that do like her. Media aside, she seems more "de-hyped" to me, if anything.

EDIT: Who's just said that they think Price Tag will go #1 in the US? As long as Bruno Mars, Katy Perry, Ke$ha, Usher and Rihanna are releasing songs there, she doesn't stand a chance.

I think people will be judging Jessie J at the moment based on 'Do It Like A Dude' alone which comes across as try hard and desperate instead of "fierce". What do I know? :D

At least 'Price Tag' is a step in the right direction - musically it's far superior in every way possible and deserves to be the bigger hit. If 'DILAD' could get to no. 2, then 'Price Tag' deserves no. 1 imo as it's simply better.

As for US success, well how thought Taio Cruz would become so popular this time last year? She stands a good chance if she's hyped up/promoted enough. I think Jessie J will do well stateside but I'm unsure if that equals the #1 in the Billbaard Top 100.

She already practically sounds American musically to me so I'd say her chances of success in the US are quite good.

The hype isn't really because she's supposed to be amazing. It's just she's current, commercial etc, so she is the "safest" choice in terms of finding a big chart star, and then if she makes it the same types that hyped her can go bigging themselves up, and the label goes raking in the £££. Everybody wins. Unless she fails then there'll probably be a few red faces. So there's nothing to get - either you like her or you don't, really.

Top 3 over here, top 50 in the US (because it features B.o.B )

well DILAD reached number 2 here, so obviously some people like her :P

UK - 1

US - Top 20

Not just top 20 in the US cos of B.o.B., I think with time she'll be big in America

I don't think B.o.B. being on the track will be enough for it to chart top 100 in the US. Airplay is included remember, so she'll have to sell even more to account for her non-existant airplay.

It should get into the charts if it gets airplay though, as it's a decent song, and I think it'd fit in well in the US music scene.

i would say number one in UK after her success with DILAD and Top 50 in US because British artists rarely do well in the US unless they do loads of promoting there

Do you think the fact that the download is released the same day as the video is released and not a few weeks after will effect its chances of being number 1 here?
i'm hoping no.1 for both, but she's a new artist and in America it will be very hard to get much success, she will just about get top 50 imo and in the uk no.3 but hopefully should sell a lot because it is a great song

Actually really, really, like this song; its very quirky and catchy.

Plus, anyone that can write the pop masterpiece that is Party In The USA gets my support.

I'm even starting to like Do It Like A Dude (I feel dirty saying that).

You're ALREADY dirty by proclaiming that Miley Cyrus $h!t a 'pop masterpiece' 100% seriously.
