I never liked All the Lovers. It's just too shrill for me, although I'm still loving Get Outta My Way and Better Than Today! Those songs are immense.

Airplanes only #12. :( Did someone just describe the chorus of Airplanes as "nothingy"?!?!?! :o WHAT IS THIS I DON'T EVEN!

I've always preferred 'Airplanes' to LTWYL, don't get me wrong it's a great song, but 'Airplanes' feels more happy and I can relate to it, it's just an easier listen than LTWYL.

Love 'All The Lovers' but I don't like her other two Aphrodite singles :(

For The Record; is it 'A-fro-die-tee' or 'A-fro-dite'?

A-fro-die-tee I think

I liked both of those, although I'm also starting to get bored of them both :( glad Cee-Lo and Bruno are in the top 10 :D

Haha it does just consist of 'Can we pretend that airplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars / I could really use a wish right now, wish right now, wish right now''. It started to grate on me a bit :(.

I agree with you on both points (though GOMW was OK). I'm slightly scared :/

I suppose GOMW was ok-ish?

Why you scared?

True. But I dunno. It was my song of 2010. I loved it so much.

And don't forget, Hayley also sings "Woah, oh, oh, oh oh oh oh ooooooh, Hmmmmm-hmmm-hmmmm-hmmmhmmmmm" at the end!

On the positive side, it beat some pretty popular songs on here! :o

10 | Cee-Lo Green - Fuck You! | 127pts

At #10 is our first of two male entries (well soley male anyway), this was one of the biggest hits of the year, storming to #01 in the UK with sales of over 100,000 in it's first week. I thought it was decent enough to begin with, the chorus was pretty anthemic and it was pretty feel good. I was never going to listen to it out of choice, just because I'm not a huge fan of his vocals ... shame that even though I don't listen to it out of choice, I'm pretty sure I've heard it a good 50 times. Radio have truly killed this song imo.

09 | Bruno Mars - Just The Way You Are | 141pts

And that's it, our second of two male entries and it's over. This was a huge hit for Bruno worldwide after he had featured on the massive 'Nothin On You' and 'Billionaire', making him a bit of a household name already. It became the 2nd biggest selling song in the UK for 2010, and is still in the charts now. I think it's probably for the best if I don't comment on my personal opinion of the song, but I do think he's an odious whiney cunt who girls lap up because he sings songs about how pretty they are. Bitch please.

Not really a fan of 'f*** You' and 'JTWYA' anymore. Both are SO overplayed and overhyped... :drama:
I love both songs, both did well on my charts. They are a bit overplayed, but i'll start listening to them again in a few months.

f*** You deserved at least top 5, but well...i'm pleased it went top 10! Really unexpected for buzzjack standards!

GaGa for number 1!

Ugh, as if Kylie beat "Airplanes" and Bruno beat Cee-Lo. Also, I really don't get the hype with "Firework" - sure, the music is uplifting enough but both her singles that it's beaten in this countdown have far superior choruses. "Hot n Cold" and "Teenage Dream" are her best for me, followed by "I Kissed A Girl" :o

08 | Lady GaGa - Alejandro | 143pts

At #08 is the seventh single from The Fame, or third from the Fame Monster from Lady GaGa. The song peaked at #07 in the UK and managed to sell over 300,000 copies ... it was always a strong highlight on the album for me, and easily the best choice of single from what was left imo. Shame radio has killed it though :(. Lady GaGa also has one more entry in the Top 10 with 'Telephone'.

07 | The Saturdays - Higher | 147pts

The Saturdays second and final entry in BuzzJack's Record Of The Year. It gave The Sats a fifth Top 10 hit in the UK and sold over 200,000 copies, going on to be one of their biggest hits to date. 'Higher' is easily one of the best singles from The Saturdays, it has great uplifting production, lyrics and vocals. It's also pretty much the perfect pop song imo - it's unashamedly catchy and cheesy bubblegum pop and personally I think that's what the charts are lacking lately.

HOW THE HELL DID CEE-LO GET TOP 10!???? :( Sooooo overrated imo :( Glad Alejandro is top 10, was worrying it'd fall short! Firework ftw!
Saturdays #7 that's a shocker :o

not really, this is Buzzjack

I like both those songs actually, I'd say Higher was the best they've done imo

The last part of your summary of Just The Way You Are is s**t, Jack. No offense.

Eminem still to come, brilliant!

Edited by Nemo

Wow. I expected Higher to be higher. Alejandro aswell.

And you've only heard Forget You 50 times!!!? :o

So what's in the top 6? Rihanna x2, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Eminem and Marina!! :D
