January 29, 201114 yr How much do they need to go platinum in the Netherlands? 60,000, so she sold at least 120,000 :o :o :o
January 29, 201114 yr WOW! This isn't a record? Must be, I'm not sure though... In the Netherlands, maybe! Take That went platinum first week with Progress (520,000 sales), 80,000 would've made them double platinum! Taylor Swift's Speak Now sold 1m (enough for platinum certification) in a week in the US.
January 30, 201114 yr http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/sessions/2011-...veloungespecial Thanks Her promise this cover is fantastic. Makes me forget a talentless hypocritical woman like Cheryl cole sings it. Edited January 30, 201114 yr by David John

January 30, 201114 yr I cant see any album knocking her off #1 in the UK for a long while. A cert million-seller.
January 30, 201114 yr so pleased for her! can definitely see that sticking around for a while and i'll be waiting is such a grower
January 31, 201114 yr Her management team appear to be gearing up for the US launch very well - she's got major TV shows lined up leading up to the album launch date - Letterman, Ellen, Today, Jimmy Kimmel etc. Plus Rolling in the Deep is 'prominently featured' in a major new sci fi film being released on 18/2. She's also on the cover of Billboard this week. Good write up about it all here: http://www.billboard.com/features/adele-th...005015182.story
January 31, 201114 yr So pleased for her and this album. As I've said before, '19' was a strong debut but was lacking when it came to the songs that werent singles. This though is an amazingly strong album, and by far my favourite relesead over the last few months. After 2 weeks (give or take), heres my rating; 10.0 Rolling In The Deep 10.0 Rumour Has It 09.0 Turning Tables 09.5 Don't You Remember 08.5 Set Fire To The Rain 08.0 He Won't Go 08.5 Take It All 09.0 I'll Be Waiting 08.0 One & Only 07.5 Lovesong (still a good track but if forced to go for a weak link this would be it) 11.0 Someone Like You (still prefer the live version, but I've grown to accpet the studio version to also be an amazing creation) Well and truely turned into a loon now.
