There might not be UK release date yet but this is damn good song from her! She hasn't really been my cup of tea before.

Yeah, it's an excellent comeback. I was a huge fan of her last album - in particular Music Everywhere, Impatient, Capital C and Do Avesso. This is a lot more mature and subtle but a huge grower, I like it more with every listen.

I really like this, but i still prefer the utterly sublime Music Everywhere

Video;

Cool video!

Well, that's certainly an Abreu video.

This is growing on me, i can't wait for the album.

This might be my favourite song of hers.. Definitely a grower

I still prefer Music Everywhere (one of my top 25 songs ever - seriously!) but it's grown on me a hell of a lot over the past few weeks - probably my second favourite of hers now.

I LOVE this! Pure 80's epic Pop tune!

Almost as good as "Vinegar", which is still her best in my opinion.

Really can't understand the love for "Music Everywhere"... sounds like a Miley Cyrus B-Side to me. Now "Slam" and "Liquid" were tunes!

This has just really clicked with me. BIG TIME! It's my fave of hers now, I loved her first two albums but this is in a different league to even the sublime Music Everywhere! It won't get number 1 in my personal chart though, as Born This Way will likely have weeks and weeks!

:o I really like it on first listen!

Who is she btw? I've never heard of her before... I love how she doesn't look like your typical Pop Star too. ^_^

She came 2nd (?) in Finnish Idol a few years back and is best known for the #1 hits over there, Vinegar and Music Everywhere (which I HIGHLY recommend, one of my favourite pop songs ever!).

Thanks. ^_^ I'll give those songs a listen now!

I've actually got 'Hysteria' on repeat. - This is why i love Buzzjack, i get introduced to amazing songs that i probably wouldn't know anything about if i wasn't a member here.

Her name is Anna Abreu, she's from Finland and her track Vinegar was released here last year iirc. [i even saw it on the music channels]

Her album Just A Pretty Face? is her third and is sheer genius.

This was the lead single, Music Everywhere:

It's a complete anthem and my 14th most played song [which is pretty f***ing decent for my iTunes]

I haven't heard much of her other albums, but i'm really looking forward to her 4th.

Thanks. ^_^ I'll give those songs a listen now!

Thanks Guys. ^_^

I really like both 'Vinegar' and 'Music Everywhere', i think out the two, 'Vinegar' is my favourite. :D

I'll be taking a listen to her last album tomorrow.

No worries. Discovering new music is the reason i'm here too.

The Buzzjack Song Contest helps with that [You might want to check that out! Music Everywhere was entered there a year or so ago] i have made some amazing discoveries through it.

[That thread i linked too also contains amazingness]

Thanks. :D

Oh i'll certainly take a look at the Buzzjack Song Contest now. ^_^
