February 3, 201115 yr Author I still have to chuckle at You Me At Six getting A-listed again  How many more shots are they gonna get?
February 3, 201115 yr Except. YMAS are going to be getting their mainstream breakthrough with this :P It's getting good amounts of airplay and I can't see anything lower than Top 10 in all honesty. (+ their gigs nearly always sell out so Radio 1 won't ignore them just yet :P)
February 3, 201115 yr :o at Chris Brown being added. Very regrettable, I'd say. I hope they receive some flak for that decision - starting with me! Edited February 3, 201115 yr by vidcapper
February 3, 201115 yr Very regrettable, I'd say. I hope they receive some flak for that decision. You would
February 3, 201115 yr You would  For once, this isn't about urban music - it's about Chris Brown being an abusive bast*rd! :( IMO, by playlisting his song, they are in effect endorsing his actions.
February 3, 201115 yr IMO, by playlisting his song, they are in effect endorsing his actions. They're endorsing something that he did one time well over a year ago and has been punished for by playing a song that is actually popular, which people always moan about when they don't do? Okay  Are they endorsing cocaine usage by playlisting Bruno Mars? Are they also endorsing assault by playlisting Cheryl Cole? No, they're just playing music which is popular. February 3, 201115 yr Surely Jessie J new song would be at least on the A playlist. Britney's new single going down the itunes top100 chart. Rihanna's new song has been banned from the Radio1 playlist. shame really.
February 3, 201115 yr Are they endorsing cocaine usage by playlisting Bruno Mars? Are they also endorsing assault by playlisting Cheryl Cole? No, they're just playing music which is popular. AMEN.
February 4, 201115 yr Are they endorsing cocaine usage by playlisting Bruno Mars? Are they also endorsing assault by playlisting Cheryl Cole? No, they're just playing music which is popular. That!
February 5, 201115 yr radio 1 have cut the rope with oasis now that theyve changed to beady eye and its been passed to radio 2 as the roller is on their alist!!
February 5, 201115 yr Radio 1 have played Beady Eye a bit... just not enough to give them playlist rotation. Remember they don't just play stuff that's on the playlist, it's just the playlist guarantees a certain amount of plays each week :P So yeah, they haven't been totally ignored. I've heard 'The Roller' I think twice on there and I don't even listen to it much.
February 6, 201115 yr of course but this is the playlist topic so we are discussing their exclusion from that list. ive heard them played on the chart and the midweeks and also on request shows.radio 2 seem to have taken up their mantel tho with them being alisted and also 6 music.
