February 8, 201114 yr I have much to be thankful for - their boy/girl harmonies, their deep love of everything shoegaze and early 90s indie, and their insistance of releasing an original non-album b-side on every single that they release. Belong sounds really epic, I look forward to hearing the album.
February 9, 201114 yr Looking forward to the album, I loved the first. Would agree that the last two singles haven't been that brilliant though.
February 9, 201114 yr I cannot wait for this album. Their first album is stunning and I love the two singles from last year too.
February 26, 201114 yr Author Bump the old thread Mikey.... It's not as if he hasn't seen this thread; he's posted in here himself!
February 28, 201114 yr Just a month to go then. Flood produced much (if not all) of the new album so that accounts for the heavier sound (and the 'Siamese Dream' comparisons I guess!)
March 10, 201114 yr Had a wee listen to most of the album last night through a promo stream. Some songs sounded great while some were passable. I'm beginning to find Kip Berman's vocal a little on the twee side sometimes though. The way he cooed through 'Heart in your Heartbreak' was a bit sugary, or perhaps it's because I think Elliot Frazier of Ringo Deathstarr's vocal style suits this whole genre so much better?

The album is rather brilliant by the sounds of things, only had a quick listen too. I agree with some of the tracks being slightly passable though. When I've finished swooning over Yelle I'll give this a proper listen.
April 4, 201114 yr So far, I am much preferring this to their debut. The first half of the album is sublime, the second half not quite so perfect but still admirable enough.
April 6, 201114 yr This is certainly a very good album, but I do think the debut is quite a bit better. It's just so joyous and perfect for a summer's evening...
April 11, 201114 yr This has been growing on me quite a bit recently (especially the second half). I don't think I could choose between the two albums.
April 14, 201114 yr Author I dunno, their stadium-rock sounds seems to be gained at the expense of their charm, ack.
