Much better than 'Born This Way' - I just will never be able to get over how awful those lyrics are! This does sound slightly like 'Bad Romance' but I really love it, a step in the right direction. The chorus IS underwhelming though and doesn't seem to fit in with the rest of the song well.

I don't even get this criticism :( I can see that maybe at a push the lyrics to the middle 8 of Born This Way could be a bit much but they're two short verses and they're over in 20 seconds! And she's singing so fast that you can barely hear the lyrics. The rest of the song is really well-written...

Same here, and I am loving the sound. After that chant, my favourite bit of the song is the chorus. I know some people are disapointed by it, but I think its just not too harsh, which is a problem I have had with some of her previous stuff (Born This Way).

I'm warming to the chorus now.

 

I don't like the "ahhhhhhh-ah-ah-ah-ah, ahhhhhh-ah-ah-ah-ah" bit though?

On the first listen I was a bit like :mellow: mainly because of the chorus although I like other parts of the track, it's got catchy hooks, the verses are good and the choppy electronic sound of it.

 

By the second and third listen I even like the chorus, this is easily FAR better than 'Born This Way'. Of course what I heard of 'Government Hooker' trounces them both...

I'll agree with you there, Government Hooker sounds EPIC and that's just a $h!tty remix.

I love it, but the the verses go way too fast and the lyrics are hard to learn :D

Messy, disappointing chorus, but still really catchy and a grower.

 

Prefer BTW, which I'd say is more catchy and more instant.

Second listen and it's alright. Not as instant as Born this way but even i found Born this way rather "meh" after a few weeks.
