Can't believe Jedward have a chance of winning!

I know it's a disaster even though we should do really well for the UK....... for Jedward to beat us will make us look like a horrible joke still :/

Odds are bollocks. Jedward won't win. Nor will Blue. Both aren't worthy of the title... (and I love both entries btw, but they're not winners!)
France 2 win. Or Slovenia. Yes.

You never know. Both would be more worthy winners than Dima Bilan's Believe was but that managed to walk off with the title despite four GREAT songs lining up behind it :(

That said, Believe was quite a moment. I knew it was the winner the second the first chorus hit in and the camera panned right with that fantastic broken glass falling backdrop...incredibly atmospheric.

That said, that was definitely a winner off the draw. Had that gone on 4th and Qele Qele gone on in its place it would've been a fight to the death between that and Shady Lady.

I really don't see the big deal with the Estonian entry!

Latest odds this morning - They really have no confidence in the UK entry - We was 10/1 last night!

Italy on 150/1. LOL.
The only predictions more wrong than BJ's, Keith Mills' and ESC EXPERT's put together were the betting odds :lol:

:o at where Estonia were! I thought it was an amzing songs, and would do pretty good like top 10, maybe? Oh how wrong I was :heehee:

Feel free to quote me saying this in a year's time if I turn out to be shamefully out;

Eric Saade will NOT finish in the top ten of ESC in 2011.

^_^

I've forgotten the context of why I said that, it was probably the week before the song clicked with me properly. Because I've been predicting him to come top five ever since! It was the only song I DID correctly predict to come top five in fact :lol:

The odds of anyone predicting the contest results in the correct order that they finished were probably less this year than winning the lottery jackpot three weeks on the trot :lol: Oh and;

I still think Poland will struggle to qualify for the final, happens every year with these uptempo female pop/dance type songs in ESC :( I wonder if they'll change it to English or leave it as Jestem?

Not really, Albania seem to make it in every year with them!

This seems like more of a Have Some Fun/Just Get Out Of My Life situation to me...

The difference is that this song actually has a bit of bite to it unlike the latter and presumably won't be drowned in 'Eastern' production in a lame attempt to get Balkan votes like the former!

LAST IN THE SEMI!

There was this competition on one russian forum and one of the participants really got the Top 4 right, posted her prediction on April 11th, AGES ago. Now that is some luck. Nobody didn't even manage to guess the Top 2 right. :o

LAST IN THE SEMI!

In FAIRNESS the semis were absolutely mind-boggling this year. I mean, Malta and Belgium 11th in their respective semis and just a point off of qualifying?

Just proves that none of us made anything resembling accurate predictions this year, so I've got nothing to be ashamed of :P

I don't get how that happened either, either way Moldova or Belgium would have been the worst song in the final, just the one with more chance of harming Blue made it in the end - damn!
