Judging by those new releases above, has some American hip hop compilation album just been released or something? :unsure:

It's a Ministry of Sound one. The tracklisting is IMMENSE but I'm surprised it's doing so well considering it's quite "old skool" and mainstream-obscure in places. Very worthy of a purchase though (in fact I might buy it myself later this week - I'm a compilation whore and I already have quite a few of their other recent ones!!)

lol yeah. Poor Justin. And poor Rihanna too. She was probably mortified! :lol: I know it would've NEVER happened, but imagine she said "Yes"! :o *shudders* That would've ended Rihanna's career. :lol:

 

Although I guess after S&M, I'm sure most males on the planet want to get to know Rihanna a bit better. :heart:

 

Also, has anybody noticed, on Nicki Minaj's album, Eminem does a verse which contains the lyrics: "I ain't into S&M, but my whips off the chain". I've heard Roman's Revenge on Radio 1Xtra, but I can't remember if they censored "S&M", "chains" or "whips" out. Wouldn't it be inconsistent for them to censor one, and not the other? He also seems to enjoy tieing women to beds. That's the second song now. :lol:

i'm glad it's looking like it's gonna be having a second week at #1. and even if the born this way video comes out i can't see it overtaking adele in sales by sunday

Lights not doing too bad, hope it manages top 40 at least- although I won't be that sad if it just misses out as it is a very weak choice of single for Ellie :(

I think it's doing quite well actually, I have only seen it once on a music channel and never on the radio. I say top twenty :(. It deserves so much more though.

It was out in JULY in the US, and I heard it not long after because I was (and am) obsessed with Nicki Minaj! Now I like Trey Songz too (his latest album is brilliant!)

Wow. Yeah, I think I must've heard it for the first time when I went to the US on holiday, so that would've been in August! :o

 

And I thought We R Who We R got a late release here! :lol:

'Bottoms Up' is incredible. One of my favourite songs of 2010, glad to see it at least appearing here!

It's Rihanna! I'm sure most guys lose all common sense when they're around her! :lol: And to be fair, Justin can be very over-confident, so I wouldn't be surprised if he genuinely thought he had a chance. I had a couple of friends like that back in school. They asked SO many girls out, even when it was clear as day they weren't even in with a chance. So embarrassing being friends with them tbh. :lol:

 

That said, you could be correct. I've noticed the media hasn't always accurately portrayed him in the past.
