Jessie has regained a bit since the last update, +2.6% to 69.8% of Adele combined (slightly more when factoring in the acoustic version of PT which isn't visible on that update)

Looks like Adele will still be #1 combined at the cutoff point for this week's chart - who knows, maybe she could score a third week at the official #1, it's not like there's anything big out. The biggest releases next week are Breakage, Foo Fighters and Elbow which will make top 20 if they're lucky,

It won't even be close.

I expect Adele to sell at very least 1/3rd more than Jessie J this week - probably 95k to 70k.

I mean on iTunes. I know Adele is going to completely crush Jessie officially. I wouldn't be surprised if Adele has over double Jessie's sales. And I think your sales estimates might be a bit low, given how well Adele has maintained her lead and that she has 7 full days of big sales this week surely she will increase her sales by quite a lot? Also Jessie surely wouldn't drop that much as well. I think it'll be more like 80-85k for Jessie and 140k+ for Adele. I'm probably way off though :P

Both Jessie J & Adele will have massive sales.

I forgot that Adele only had half a week of mega sales last time, but because the Brits boost was a once-off effect, even after reconsidering my estimate, I'd be surprised if Adele sold much more than last week, if at all.

As for jessie J, I expect her total to drop significantly this week - maybe by 20% to the mid-70k's somewhere.

I think Florence & Dizzee's chart run last year pretty conclusively proved the BRITs boost is not just a one off, for the most popular performances anyway. It obviously dies off significantly after about a week but there is still increased interest for a while after that.

Anyway, I don't know if you saw, but on Wednesday the OCC confirmed Adele was 70% ahead of Jessie in the mids, so given Adele has remained significantly ahead (by at least 1/3) of Jessie ever since then I'd think by Sunday Adele must be nearing, if not already past double Jessie's sales - does that affect your predictions in any way? :P

What makes you think Price Tag's sales will drop so much?

Wow at Champion still being #5! :o

And Who's That Chick? up to #11! :o I would LOVE it to go back top 10, but it's miles away from the top 10. It's a shame aswell, because Grenade really needs to go imo. :(

Kanye up to #36!! :w00t:

N-Dubz now in the top 100! :o It's actually a really good song. It's like Teenage Dream, only better.

And I heard the Jennifer Lopez song on the radio for the first time!! It's amazing. It sound very European, and very summer 2010. I hear strong elements of Stereo Love by Edward Maya and Hot by Inna in there. I think I heard it was produced by Red One too (the genious that created Start Without You ).

Because this is its 4th week.

How come?

It's a good song and has some staying power...

Back when it looked like being a #1 loads of people were complaining that it would end up being another one to add to the list of 'non-#1s' that plagued the UK chart in 2010 and saying that it would drop really fast.

Who's That Chick? is back up to #11 :o

Firstly, most UK #1s had very short and front-loaded chart runs (for a #1) last year. It's still too early to tell (Good Times looked like it could hang around for a while with 3 weeks at #1, but even that left the top 40 not long after), but the fact that it's still #5 is a great sign.

I know Champion is a good song, but so are Green Light and Once. :(

So glad to see that BTW has started to climb back up a little bit, instead of falling and falling! I don't understand why people aren't connecting with the song, it is awesome!!!! Hurry up and release the videos GaGa!!! I find it strange that the first song she releases with a proper meaning is the one that seems to be all over the place on iTunes instead of being constant! Hopefully the video will give it longevity!

Born This Way video is being released on Monday, and she is doing interviews on UK radio stations on Monday too, so should help with its sales.

Also she is releasing a SECOND music video for Born This Way soon, on itunes, the profits of which go to charity. the star that keeps on giving :)

Does Whos that Chick have two videos i saw one today and Rhianna was dressed in all black and the video was more dark instead of the orginal bright coloured one :o

Yep, there pretty much identical though, just different colours and the rainbows in the 'bright' version are replaced by bats in the 'dark' version etc.

^ I'm not sure, but I read somewhere that there's a day version and a night version of the video for Who's That Chick?

That song is terrific btw!!!! I haven't been able to stop listening to it for months now!
