November 16, 201113 yr With a member missing a band like the saturdays should be splashed all over the tabloids but it just isnt happening, i know this can be good and bad, while i dont follow their promotional trail by reading some your comments they dont seem to be promoting the album at all, and i agree is the album not alot more important than the single, i would have thought at this stage album sles would be becoming crucial for them to prove to the record company that they are worth keeping, im not saying they are in danger of being dropped but surely the record will eventually see that financially the albums just arent paying off.
November 16, 201113 yr Author Now you've come to mention it, i was completely oblivious to the fact their not promoting the album! I guess as fans we know anyway, but to the puplic no one is going to know! They probabbly know they'll cash in more from the tour rather than the album. They need a decent selling arena tour under their belts after 2 sell out theatre tours. Another gold album can wait in their books, they have 3 of them that have surpassed that.
November 16, 201113 yr Had a look at how all the 21st Nov releases are doing on pre-orders on the main music purchase sites. Think I've covered them all... iTunes pre-orders for 21st November releases: #15 Rihanna - Talk That Talk (Deluxe) #70 Rihanna - Talk That Talk (Standard) #121 One Direction - Up All Night #122 Nickleback - Here and Now #134 Westlife - Greatest Hits #135 Now That's What I Call Music! 80 The Sats (and Kate Bush) nowhere to be found in the top 200 for pre-orders in the album chart. They're doing ok on HMV on top 50 pre-order chart though: #2 One Direction - Up All Night #3 Now That's What I Call Music! 80 #4 Westlife - Greatest Hits #5 Rihanna - Talk That Talk (Standard) #6 Kate Bush - 50 Words for Snow #8 The Saturdays - On Your Radar #11 Nickleback - Here and Now Amazon's pre-order chart and how the 21st Nov pre-orders are faring: #1 Now That's What I Call Music! 80 #2 One Direction - Up All Night #3 Westlife - Greatest Hits (2CD & DVD Version) #4 Kate Bush - 50 Words for Snow #7 Westlife - Greatest Hits #8 Rihanna - Talk That Talk (Deluxe) #9 Nickleback - Here and Now #10 One Direction - Up All Night (Limited Yearbook Edition) #15 Rihanna - Talk That Talk (Standard) #18 The Saturdays - On Your Radar ...and Play.com's pre-order chart: #1 Now That's What I Call Music! 80 #2 Westlife - Greatest Hits (2CD & DVD Version) #3 One Direction - Up All Night (Play.com Exclusive Sticker Pack) #4 Nickleback - Here and Now #6 Rihanna - Talk That Talk (Standard) #9 Kate Bush - 50 Words for Snow #10 One Direction - Up All Night (Limited Yearbook Edition) #11 Rihanna - Talk That Talk (Deluxe) #12 Westlife - Greatest Hits #13 One Direction - Up All Night #17 The Saturdays - On Your Radar Think that's all the main music sites, right? November 16, 201113 yr Author The HMV pre-order chart for Nov 21st has all 6 listings for On Your Radar, 4 of them Top 10 I believe.
November 16, 201113 yr Apparently Mollie's slipcase is #4 on HMV's pre-orders, with Una and Frankie at the bottom end of the top 10 (plus the main version) and then Vanessa/Rochelle further down the chart. EDIT - 1. Ed Sheeran (deluxe, so that'll be combined to his original anyway) 2. Kate Bush 3. Olly Murs (released after The Sats?) 4. Mollie 5. Various Artists (ineligible to chart anyway) 6. On Your Radar (main) 7. Frankie 8. Una 24. Vanessa 26. Rochelle Surely that's pretty good? :o Edited November 16, 201113 yr by shadow2009

Yep, that's for the 'coming soon' chart I think. The HMV chart I've listed seems to be the main/general chart for the top 50 pre-orders on their site. :) Link: http://hmv.com/hmvweb/navigate.do?pPageID=4906 Edited November 16, 201113 yr by Encore

November 16, 201113 yr Author 5. Various Artists (ineligible to chart anyway) It's not ineligible. It will chart in the compilation chart rather than the UK Albums Chart.
November 16, 201113 yr That's what he meant, it's not of consequence to The Saturdays chart position.
November 16, 201113 yr My deluxe album has been dispatched from Universal today!!! :cheer: Hopefully it can get here by Saturday then! :) Eee I'm getting very excited now!!!!! Feels like we've been waiting forever.
November 17, 201113 yr Worrying that it's not in the top 200 on iTunes pre-orders as it's good for the singles to be cherry picked if it's in the top 10 on albums! I can't believe the competition they have put themselves under. I do think it will peak during another time though! I am sick of always thing negative. The album sounds awesome, obviously it needs to sell but it will sell over 100,000 (I hope) leading up to Christmas. I wish that they filmed video 4 now to keep the momentum up with the album and maybe release in the first 3 weeks of January, like what The Wanted are doing (but their through December) I think Single #4 will be Faster in Jan/February followed by hopefully White Lies followed by The Way You Watch Me. If that's the case I think the album could actually sell over 300,000! ONE DAY UNTIL WE HEAR THE ALBUM IN FULL ! It's a bit concerning they have no promotion next week! November 17, 201113 yr Mine too! They're preparing the order to be shipped. If I dont have mine by Monday I will go and cut a bitch!
November 17, 201113 yr It's out in Ireland midnight tonight. :) Really hope this does better than I'm expecting it to. Praying to the pop Gods this is a successful album!
November 17, 201113 yr They haven't despatched mine either, pffft. I'm guessing all the signed ones have been shipped.
November 17, 201113 yr I'm so proud of myself that I haven't listened to any snippets/previews/anything from this album yet. :D All i've heard are the three singles. :D Can't wait until I get the album, stick my earphones in, open iTunes and play the album in full (like I did with Wordshaker. I ruined Headlines by listening to it when it leaked :( and cherry picked songs individually before eventually buying the Chasing Lights album).
November 17, 201113 yr Get Read, Get Set aside, this album has done very well as it won't leak now before it's release tomorrow. That's one less thing you can blame if (when?) it flops!! :P
