November 23, 201113 yr Oh if we're including b sides, Ladykiller is on about 45 plays. Definitely my favourite On Your Radar era track.
November 23, 201113 yr The b-sides from this era have been very good, Not That kinda Girl especially.
November 23, 201113 yr Ladykiller is AMAZING. I actually prefer it to the two singles sandwiched between AFU and possibly AFU itself as well! Not That Kinda Girl is their 2nd best B-Side (behind Ladykiller) too and So Stupid is up there!
November 23, 201113 yr I wouldn't say So Stupid or Not That Kinda Girl are on the same level as the likes of Ladykiller, Crashing Down and Had It With Today but they would have sounded better on the album than the 4 poor middle tracks.
November 23, 201113 yr Yes but one of the supposed 'poor' middle tracks is in fact THE BEST THING ON THE ALBUM so. So Stupid wouldn't fit on there at all. The problem with ALL of their b-sides is that they're poorly produced. Perhaps they never bother finishing them once they've decided on the album tracklist so they get released as b-sides sounding really roughly produced. I don't know. But in their current form I wouldn't have any of those songs on the album, they're not just too poorly produced/mastered even when the melodies are there (Ladykiller).
November 23, 201113 yr Well naturally I completely disagree with you re. the production and DWYWWM *.* But then we both know I don't place the same emphasis on production as you do, it's only really an issue for me when it's shit* as it is with a lot of this album. * IN MY OPINION
November 23, 201113 yr Author The only production issue I have with the album is The Way You Watch Me. The vocals nearer the end are poorly mixed together. Too many layers. Of course that may well be how it was meant to sound which I have no objection to, but it just doesn't pack a punch for me. Too many different/alternative vocals, too much layering going on.
November 24, 201113 yr I think my most played non-single from this album is now 'For Myself', that chorus is amazing when it just explodes in after the subtle verses, its so catchy i cant get enough of it.
November 24, 201113 yr Can't stop listening to Get Ready Get Set, guessing everyone else is so over it already
November 24, 201113 yr Actually saw an advert for it last night first one I seen was advertising it at Tesco cd and Download. Also love the album 'Do What You Want With Me' 'Faster' are my faves
November 24, 201113 yr :( @ #17. I actually thought it could have climbed again today. God knows how much it'll drop next week.
November 24, 201113 yr This is the problem with scheduling the tour so close to the album release. They are in rehearsals when they really should be doing anything they can to promote the album
November 24, 201113 yr I kinda agree. Hopefully in January they'll be out in full force trying to boost the album? Obviously Una won't be able to do much but the other four maybe? It's gonna be a weird year next year really... Una giving birth in March, taking time off until whenever, and Roch said in an interview last week they'll be writing/recording for the 5th album whilst Una's with the baby... not sure what's going to happen next year! Maybe a re-release of this album would be better mid 2012 rather than wheeling a new album out for the end of next year because more than likely that would end up the same way OYR is going? November 24, 201113 yr I've heard they sold around 11k-12k in the first two days, so they would definitely overpass Pixie's first week sales, 18k. And they should sell around 20k-25k by Sunday, which is what they use to sell. Can anyone confirm this? Edited November 24, 201113 yr by The47thbelmon
