November 27, 201113 yr I don't even know what to say. I'm listening to 'White Lies' now and it breaks my heart knowing they're putting so much heart into it (especially Una) and probably only about 15,000 people bought the album this week. :(
November 27, 201113 yr Shame they only got #23, The album's only £4:99 on amazon for the CD aswell, Thought that would of boosted it.
November 27, 201113 yr FFS, Imagine if their management had not put out multiple copes. I am in shock.
November 27, 201113 yr OWCH. There's no way to make that into a positive, is there... Probably won't even be top 40 next week. #23 is better than #24 :magic: Serious though, it deserves to be 20 places higher :(
November 27, 201113 yr I am in shock. I'm not. The saddest thing is that this mega flop was inevitable :( I did think it could've held top 20 with the Amazon price reduction but I guess it was too late in the week to ultimately do anything...
November 27, 201113 yr I hope it stays top 40 for them next week, Probably go from #23 too about #45. :(
November 27, 201113 yr This era is over, imo. You can't save an album once it's been labelled a flop. The next single will probably be snubbed by radio, shops won't stock the album (except for the discount section), it'll fall out of sight on the online stores charts and with the tour, Frankie being ill, Una pregnant etc I think they'll just give up. :(
November 27, 201113 yr Even worse than the Sugababes... Lol! no freaking way. Sweet 7 needed more than 3 weeks in the top100 to get 19k sales in total...and On Your Radar is going to sell that in their first week, and no need to say that the tour and the next singles will make the album stay in the charts at least more than three weeks, so there is no chance of this doing worse than that album.
November 27, 201113 yr Christ this is a bloody disaster. You could see it coming a bit over the past week or so, but considering this was in reality meant to be the album that solidified them as the dominant girlgroup on the scene, then I don't think anyone could really see it going this amount of tits up for them. If they survive this then frankly they can survive anything, up to and including nuclear war probably. The album's grown a bit on me though. I'm sure this comforts them.
November 27, 201113 yr Apart from the singles, I struggle to find any other song other than Faster that has got me hooked. I could find at least a few on Wordshaker. Such a shame given the quality of All Fired Up  If they survive this, they need a couple of years out, and then come back with a bang. If we see anything like a GH announced in the next few months, I think the end is sadly nigh :(

I was just talking about the chart position obviously. I had no idea about the sales figures simply because it don't phase me. (although it's debatable there are gonna me any more singles - but nobody knows atm).
November 27, 201113 yr I could see their Greatest Hits being a bigger disaster than Jamelia's at this rate. If it comes to it, I hope they're allowed to go quietly and with some dignity. Optimistic me thinks this isn't the end for them though.

The sales in March and in late November with multiply copies aren't really comparable. I wonder will we even have the next single or it will be snubbed a la 'Crash & Burn' or 'Here Standing'.
November 27, 201113 yr I guess we'll probably get a fourth single to see what happens, but unless radio support it and they actually promote the single then it'll probably end up missing the top 40 altogether. If they're releasing another single they need to think hard about it. I think White Lies, The Way You Watch Me or Get Ready Get Set would be a good choice at this stage.
