To be fair.. Champion only really started to get a lot of airplay about 2 or so weeks before it's release date.. even after the music video was out

 

That was the only time I actually thought it would be a contender

It should still do well and I'm sure he has promo lined up in a few weeks with the album being released

But anyway, it's on air-on sale. It was never going to go top 5 or anything because of this.

 

On the other hand though, it hasn't really been promoted much yet. Just Can't Get Enough by the Black Eyed Peas was put on iTunes last year, wasn't in the top 1000 at all, for months, and now has climbed as high as #2 with radio airplay and a video. So we never know. It's all about what promotion the song can get, and whether people like what they hear.

Don't be ridiculous. It's started to climb up Radio 1's playlist, and we all knew it'd be one of those "On air, on sale" things. Chipmunk's not that established yet to get the effect straight away. Give it time to get proper airplay and wait for the video premier before we start coming to conclusions like that please.

 

I'm liking this a little better now actually. Not as disappointing as I made it out to be over 2 weeks ago. LOL

I actually really like this video & song makes me want to purchase Chipmunks album!

But Oopsey Daisy & Until you were gone were brilliant!

This song deserves to chart higher.
