It's not obvious, she's currently #12 without ANY promo, that's pretty high, for not that hyped song.

With right tactic she can get number 1, it's all on right tactic!

Hold It Against Me went top 5 also without any promo and that peaked at #6.

Her limited fanbase are all buying it now and it'll start to plummet in a couple of days. It'll be lucky to even go top 10 unless they get the video out soon at the rate it's currently going at...

When you say that, that doesn't really look that great. I mean, I can understand for the Blackout era, but with other songs that's quite bad. She needs to get out and do some promotion, she said that there would be loads of promotion for the album/single, we've only got one confirmed performance, in America, in another 3 weeks. :(
But in Britney's defence/other artists defence too, we are quite limited to the promotion that Artists can do nowadays. We need some big music shows that aren't on just in the last quarter of the year. WE NEED TOTP BACK :( (At least once a month to celebrate the best of that month/future releases)

Jive need to release the single(with video) along with the album next week with promotion, she will get two number ones, i'm confident.

Also Alan Carr: Chatty Man will be the perfect place for promotion as it's popular for teenagers/young adults(16-25), so it's her target aduience.

Britains Got Talent (popular)

Other chat shows.

I think Alan Carr would be excellent for her. I truly believe he and Brit would get some great chemistry going on and just bounce off each other so well. I WANT THAT INTERVIEW PLUS TWO PERFORMANCES :( (Or just a Britney special, and hour interview with 3 or 4 performances. - I should work for her management! :drink:)
if she would bring out the video sooner than how long it took for the HIAM video then Top.5, I'm thinking Top.10 :/

HIAM had 6 days of sale and was much more hyped than TTWE. And it was released 1 week later in UK.

TTWE doesn't have hype, radio promo, tv promo, live tv promo, doesn't have even the banner on itunes!

...all of these things point towards TTWE peaking lower, not higher?

I'm just sayin' that TTWE doing well without media hype. By that it seems that she will peak higher than HIAM (in a few weeks) if they do right tactic for the single! HIAM didn't had right tactic.

Yeah, I'd like some sort of music TV show all year round. Like what the BRITs did, with getting Adele all the way to #1. It'd be great promo for some artists, especially if they do a good performance.

I doubt it - Britney has virtually no casual fans left in the UK, so once all the hardcore fans have bought it, she has very little to fall back on (which is why Hold It Against Me fell so quickly). She's only ever going to get another big hit if she releases a fantastic, trend-setting pop song - which, in my view, this ultra-generic track isn't.
