Would prefer it if the glorious 'Biology' was a bit higher up but othern that that all going well so far. Very pleased in particular to see 'Whole Lotta History' doing very well, it's usually a very underrated single by them. The video is also gorgeous.

Another four in and Sexy No No No doubles its points after being given full points from Nick and Aaron (that's four 12s already!) It stretches its lead over second place to eight points, but Something Kinda Ooooh is holding in there - ahead of climber Call The Shots in third. All 22 songs now have points which sees an INFLUX of Girls Aloud's less popular singles (I think its safe to say that), including I Think We're Alone Now, Long Hot Summer and Walk This Way bringing up the rear. Jonjo gives the only unofficial hit Theme to St. Trinians his three points.

 

Love Machine and The Promise are LANGUISHING.

Woo didn't realize this many people actually liked S!NNN hope it can stick there, also glad SKO and WLH are so high. Hope The Show can rise into top 5, but its doubtful

I don't get the love for 'Whole Lotta History' at all! :lol:

Definitely one of their worst singles imo!

'Theme to St Trinian's' is amazing! :( I hope I'm not the only one to give it points! :drama:

 

Whilst doing this I realised just how strong their back catalogue really is! Some real pop gems and underrated beauties in there!

Cant believe it took so long for 'Jump' to get points. By far their best cover at least. Not partically pleased at the vastly overrated 'Untouchable' ahead of 'Biology' and 'Loving Kind' though.

 

Haha at 'Love Machine'. Though I think it's always been more of a general public than a fan favourite.

A massive 22 points for Something Kinda Ooooh (and just 10 for Sexy No No No) sees the former ZOOM (read: creep slowly) up to the top spot. Can Sexy pull it back? There are climbs into the Top 5 for Biology and Sound of the Underground, with The Show just behind. Gooddelta's and Theo's very generous 12 points each for The Promise means it quits hanging around with the lesser-liked songs and climbs into the magical Top 10. A HUGE 26 points for Love Machine sees it make a challenge for the Top 10 at last. Andrew* is the second person so far to give points to Theme to St. Trinians.

So the top 4 consists of a song I find underrated (although judging by the results, maybe it's not) and the three original Girls Aloud singles I think are worst! :lol:

Thank god for Theo :cheer: If The Promise and Love Machine are the 'public's favourites' but not the 'fan favourites' then I'm siding with the public. I was always a huge fan of GA from day one but The Promise was the 'moment' that I'd always been waiting for, my favourite song of theirs by a mile and I've never understood the hate for it on BJ. Fun, sophisticated, insanely catchy, a brilliant key change and a proper non-fade ending plus I adore the lyrics (especially in the verses) and the melody (again, especially in the verses). I also loved their image, styling, video and everything about the Out Of Control era, it felt like they'd finally become the band they always had the potential to be.

 

In contrast, take the admittedly incredible intro out of Sexy! No, No, No...and to me it's nothing more than decent album filler.

This round Something Kinda Ooooh scores paltry points with only missingyou voting for it, whilst Sexy! No No No racks them up and climbs back to the top! Apart from this, the Top 5 remains exactly the same. The Loving Kind re-enters the Top 10 and Love Machine's 21 points this round places it at #10. Is one of the general public's favourite songs also set to be a fan favourite?!?!? Long Hot Summer and I'll Stand By You also climb amongst the bottom eight, despite scoring only handfuls of points. Never fear if one of these is your favourite though, because there's still a maximum of 168 points for each song available!

Go Rich! :P I'm glad 'The Promise' finally got top-ten, even if it was only short-lived. It's one of, if not, my favourite songs of all time and I shall take no criticism of it! 'Love Machine' is also brilliant so great to see it top ten. :wub:

YAY Slick to the rescue. The Promise SURGES to a new peak at #9 thanks to twenty brand-spanking new points this round (12 of them from moi.) Jump, which I thought'd be a DEAD CERT for Top 10 because it's GASMIC, limps 15-14 too. Twenty points for Something Kinda Ooooh puts it back at the top, knocking Sexy! No No No down to second place AGAIN. A pathetic four points for Sexy means there's now a gap of 11 points between the top two (the longest such gap so far.) Call The Shots equals the points for second place challenging for the top spot!! Could Call The Shots snatch a top two finish?

Im surprised at Sexy getting this many points. It's good but not their best by far :(

 

 

I'm not that impressed by the current top three. :( I mean, I love all of those songs, but none of them are my favourites. :( Glad to see 'The Promise' back in the top ten where it should be, but 'Love Machine' needs to re-join it! :cheer:
