The success of Dont Hold Your Breath really is a good sign for the album out next week!

If she can get to #1 before The Wanted the #1 boost will really help her out. The Wanted could catch up before she catches up to Adele though..not long way behind though so could see a #1 in less than an hour.

Yes and Yes to this it would be great if Nicole got to No 1 only because her single is miles better, I think the Wanted have done the worst Comic relief single ever.Parade are doing so well also but I think Adele has had No 1 for far too long.

Imo if Nicole gets to no.1 it will continue the great year for number 1s we have had this year

2 to 4 are so close when Jessie is combined, Adele still has a reasonable lead aswell combined but nothing that can't be over-taken very soon. #1 is very open this week!

Nicole about to take number 1 then, and The Wanted will probably overtake Adele eventually too- excellent! :D

 

tbh I don't mind if Nicole beats The Wanted- I like her song, a lot better than Poison- I think the Wanted will have the advantage of physicals and Comic Relief on Friday, but I think it will be very close

Agreed! Gold Forever is so disappointing to me, Heart Vacancy and All Time Low were SO much better.

If any song should be #1 for 4 weeks its Someone Like You, a song that will be Adele's signature song, timeless. Also should sell 1 million in no time. :D

Shame 'Poison' didn't make more of an impression last November but 'Don't Hold Your Breath' is another decent song.

Poison peaked at #3 and did well, i'd say it was a hit. But personally it isnt half as good as Dont Hold Your Breath, Nicole is much better suited to these types of songs, and this song is a lot more like-able, it doesnt have that irritating aspect that Poison has.
