Remember though that the 2nd version of Adele is iTunes only.

The Vaccines - If You Wanna at #77 :D Very good song, far better than WB(RRR) and PB-US. Seems unlikely to go top 40 as it hasn't been given a single release, it's just selling as an album track, but I'm hoping it'll beat or at least match the 3 weeks in the chart PB-US managed.

And here's another four-way pop bar update.

Nicole Scherzinger still 100%.

Adele is 72% of Nicole Scherzinger (+2.67% :o)

The Wanted are 56.33% of Nicole Scherzinger (-8.67%)

The Wanted are 78.24% of Adele (-15.51%)

Jessie J is 48.67% of Nicole Scherzinger (-3.33%)

Jessie J is 67.59% of Adele (-7.41%)

Jessie J is 86.39% of The Wanted (+6.39% :D)

Conclusion: Nicole and Adele are continuing to pull away from Jessie and The Wanted but Adele is now gaining on Nicole. Jessie continues to gain on The Wanted.

ugh, Adele better not go back to number 1- I don't care if Nicole or The Wanted get it just not that again :(

Although it dosen't really matter.... Nicole has the brilliant cahill version at #500 on Itunes..

From TW's drop on iTunes today, I'd say they're now out of the running bar a miracle on their part.

So, its definitely between Adele and Nicole for the #1 spot this week.

I think Nicole will get it as even although Adele is closing, Nicole is, at the moment, still stretching her lead by a significant margin. That lead will have been sustained for 5.8/7ths of the week by the time Adele performs on Comic Relief (assuming Adele doesn't overtake on iTunes until then), which will mean that any lead Adele builds up after Comic Relief will need to be 4.8 times [5.8/(7-5.8)] the lead that Nicole averaged over Adele from Sunday 00:01 - Friday 8pm (if that's when Adele overtakes) AND sustained through to close of play on Saturday 11:59pm.

Which would be extremely difficult to do and require a massive pop bar from Adele. I can't see it happening on the official charts this week, but I think Adele may be back to #1 on iTunes after Comic Relief.

So it looks like 2011's CR Single will follow in the footsteps of 2009's attempt 'Just Cant Get Enough'.... not #1

Actually I think it'll do worse and land @ #3 this week - and probably drop right out the top 10 next week too

The wanted actually said this wasn't intended to be there comic relief song, it was meant to be the lead single of their new album, how short to release a new album :|

It's getting a single release on Monday, with 3(!) additional b-sides on the CD single. They should've released it this week if they wanted it to do well though.

What a dull and dreary pick for lead single what has happened to them. There was a twitter rumour that they were going to record Alex B and Bruno Mars Before it Explodes for there new album.

298. Friday - Rebecca Black

you have got to be kidding me?! this was funny for about a day, now its just horrendous and if it gets anywhere near the top 100, it will be quite insulting to artists who work hard to make music and don't chart very well
