Maybe he is, but Right Round is far more listenable that the Saturday's JCGE will ever be. At least they have an original song this time.. shame it's so irredeemebly awful.

I'm sorry, I just realised I was artist bashing, although  at someone adding the "fixed" bit. In fact, it was also fixed the week "Missing You" missed number 1. They jumped to number 1 on airplay next week.

That's all fine & well, but those two examples that you used are notorious for having quite large fanbases.

Even though I'm pretty much a Nicole stan, I wouldn't say there's a huge fanbase that will have pre-ordered the single & that is continuing to buy the song.

I am in genuine belief that people just do like the song and are buying it for that reason.

There is not a huge Nicole Scherzinger fanclub downloading and downloading the song..

And also, Poison never got that far infront of the #2 song..

Good point. "Poison" was front loaded because of The X Factor performance perhaps. The sales would naturally have been more spred out but weren't with the massive exposure.

WOW.. how close is it from 8-12! Parade with one bit of promotion could go 8th!

The Saturdays comic relief single $h!ts all over The Wanted. It's still on the radio and in clubs it's that good.

THIS.

Yeah. A play on Radio 1 tommorrow morning could do it.

Although their po bar isn't "full" yet, so they should easily make top 10 tbh.

PARADE #10 LET THE TOP 10 EFFECT BEGIN! don't think they will do as good as saturdays though.
The Wanted's Comic Relief single >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> The Saturdays Comic Relief single. I don't get why The Wanted are getting so much hate with this. It's their most instant hit for me...

I don't know what clubs you visit then JAMSHA.

I've only heard Nicole a few times on the radio, and I never watch TV, but I've heard so many people talk about the song, like in real life.

The Wanted, I've been hearing all over the place on the radio, or at least on the pop and top 40 stations.

Yeah I'm the same. The Wanted have been hammered on all the radio stations I listen to (Capital Scotland, Forth One, Radio 1) and it seems like its been on all the bloody time (not joking).

On the contrary, I heard Nicole's song for the first time driving home on Thursday, on Radio 1. And that's been it.

That makes me think that initially, as far as the week goes, The Wanted will be more front loaded than Nicole. Therefore unless TW have huge physicals early on (i.e. >10k by Thursday, which is possible but IMO unlikely in this climate, even with a charity single as its not the "tangent" CR single a la Peter Kay) then Nicole will be in the lead on Tuesday and increasing, or at the very least maintaining that lead, right through to the Friday mids.

That will put on one hell of a fight for the last 28ish hours after TW perform on CR on Friday night. Even Adele could muster a shot as (a) she will be more consistent throughout the week than both TW and Nicole as she's been @ #1 for 4 weeks; and (B) her performance is actually likely to have more of an effect on her iTunes pop bars than The Wanted's will.

I can't call it right now; I'm hoping Nicole gets it but its waaay too early to tell. If she has a pop bar approx 30-40% ahead of TW by c.o.p. tomorrow she has a chance.

I thought Parades Louder was by Pixie Lott on the music channels  I was scanning for ages at the girls trying to spot her thinking they were backing dancers until i realised that Pixie lot sang Turn It Up not this. Maybe the line "Turn it up louder" confused me! LOL FAIL.

You're not alone. I thought the exact same thing. Epic fail for me too

All three of them appeared on Scream

Eh? :o

Anctually, this song it so weak I think that whatever is promoted on Friday as the alternate single will blow it out of the water. Remember what happened in 2005, when Mcfly's All About You was completely overshadowed by Amarillo? The same could happen this time. Unless of course it's pile of old trousers like 2009's debacle by two of the supporting actors from Gavin And Stacey..

Your first sentence is completely contradicted by your last.

The Saturdays had a disadvantage- they had no comic relief performance or promo to back it up and by the time it came, it was too late and the unofficial one (which are always more popular) was released and on course to top the charts

Why did The Saturday's not have a CR performance that year?

The Wanted will trail off more than Nicole though, die-heart wanted fans will be purchasing and the gap is quite big between Nicole and Wanted bigger than what she ever had over Ellie.

To quote superbossanova (I think):-

die hard [/bray]

To be fair, since I'm obsessed with the Black Eyed Peas, I used to Ctrl+F "Just Can't Get Enough" everytime I checked the feed when the song was lower down the top 1000 (or not in it at all), and The Saturdays song of that title was nearly always in the top 1000 (as was the Depeche Mode version), which I think must count for something! I would prefer The Wanted to be #1 over Adele though.

Also, anybody find it strange that Hey, Soul Sister by Glee Cast is climbing?

Rooney you would not like the places. Saturdays, Cheryl, Ke$ha list goes on of pop divas on loop. Anything else and the DJ gets Egged. Messy scenes sometimes. Black Eyed Peas came on and let's just say the Dj escaped through the bathroom window... Lucky escape.

Eh? :o

Yeah! I don't think the song is particularly amazing. All three artists have done much better, but what a trio!! :D

All three of them recorded versions of Don't Hold Your Breath, so I kind of wish they'd mash them up and release it.

EDIT: Oh, did you think I was talking about the Scream movies?

What was you talking about then?

Nicole is building up quite a lead on I-tunes..

What? No it wasn't.. I said if it was dreadful like in 2009 it wouldn't be overshadowed by the second single. It really isn't that difficult to understand..

Wonderful! We now know these mysterious clubs that you're always on about are non-existent.

Yup, I thought you meant Scream the movies. Now I feel silly

Birdy plummeting now. :(

I never saw her face, just love her voice. ^_^

Probably to do with it being the Glee episode debuting on terrestrial TV, albeit early morning.
