Couldn't agree more

and me! Its great to see someone who is so talented and unique in todays chart doing so so well, and she's representing UK all over the globe. Hate seeing people hating someone because they are successful? Jealousy is an ugly trait. Fair enough if you dont like her and she's not your style of music, fine, but not liking someone because they are successful is ridiculous imo. (in the least offensive way possible, just the way i'm thinking).

I'm almost certain SLY will be #1 again on iTunes, at least after Comic relief performance.

BEP will soon be top 10.

All of the Lights #27!

MYFML is #39, still hanging on in there

Eyes Wide Shut #40, anyone know the total sales? and what are they doing now, is it next album or another single? (Sabrina, you'll know :heehee:)

adele definitely rising again then and the wanted are dropping quite a bit now.. looks like it might just drop to #2 this week unless the performance on comic relief is has as big an effect as the brits had and she can get a load of sales on friday and saturday cos she's catching up already as it is

Edited by JakeWild

remember The Wanted will be given a boost on friday as well- they won't get number 1, but I think it will just be enough to hold on to number 2, unless Adele gets back to number 1 with a huge lead or something
i think its good to see A British Act do so well in the charts after the oversaturisation of US Acts that we had in 2010.

Plus SLY is an absolutely fantastic song and its good to see a song of its kind doing so well in the charts - different to the electronic, VC stuff that gets pumped out.

Plus we havent had a long stayer at the top (for this long) since Lily Allen with the Fear - and 5 weeks we havent had one for a couple of years - its good to see a long stayer once in a while.

In short though - Adele is uber-brilliant and deserves all the success she is now getting

Agree with everything you have mentioned!

Natalia up to #170 :D

She's up to 139 :yahoo:

I used to really like adele but i'm completely sick of her now.

She everywhere and has took over the charts :banghead:

finally! someone who agrees! :D

I still think Nicole will be No 1 on Sunday, there can't be THAT many people now who like the song who won't have downloaded it already or got the album, lol..
the only way in which Adele will be number 1 on sunday is if it overtakes by the end of today at the very latest- I don't think a song has ever been official number 1 which has climbed to number 1 on itunes later than that- reclaiming number 2 is possible, but only if the lead version overtakes Nicole

I think Gettin' Over You by Guetta went to itunes number 1 on Thursday! And it was number 1 on Sunday! Not sure, though!

Makes a change from the charts being dominated by r*p, so I'm not exactly complaining... ;)

I like Someone Like You, but would have preferred it if Rolling In The Deep had done as well instead

I have it at 210k+ , which is pretty good considering it's the 3rd Single from the album & The Club Is Alive being the lead single only sold 250k

& they've said there will be no more singles from the album and are in Denmark at the moment recording/writing with Cutfather, Deekay and Talay Riley

I think that was Wednesday- and it only just managed it in what was an otherwise quiet week

They'll prob get a boost from CR - so another week top 40 after this is possible... prob beat TCIA total

The charts are poo recently for me :( Never liked Adele and now they have been infested with average tripe like Nicole and Wanted :(

Whens J Los anthem released

Oo yeh. I completely forgot about Comic Relief. I wonder when they'll be back from Denmark then..

It really does deserve to beat TCIA. TCIA being their worst single and EWS their best (or 2nd best after OS)
