No real competition there I believe. Sales for the #1 have dipped alot recently as well. They were only 90-110k every week but the #1 dipped to 60-70k this week with Bruno Mars's 'Lazy Song'. If The Sats play their cards right...

I love the ''ohhhhhh's'' running through the song ... loving it. Really hope it leaks before I go away on Sunday!! :(
^ of course it will, if the video is out on Thursday and the full song is out Saturday at midnight on iTunes lol.
I can't wait until I hear the full song. I love the positivity in this thread compared to last week!
im hoping Radio 1 playlist this on Wednesday :)
Also this probably won't get 1st week number 1. Remember Lady Gaga's album is out Monday, so it is likely one of the singles will end up back at number 1 through cherry picking
The good thing for the Saturdays is that nothing big is out the week after, I can't see a Gaga song getting number one next week through cherry picking either tbh!

Seriously can't wait to hear this now

The clips look so good.. & I've become even more excited to hear the full version after watching their documentary

We never can be sure about Gaga, though. But with fourth singles already out this week I can't see too many people buying many individual tracks from the album...they will buy the singles this week or the whole album on Monday.

I don't think this will be the same case of the last time, though. Notorious will have a bigger impact than Missing You and Gaga's buzz singles are not Guetta+Flo Rida's Club Can't Handle Me, they won't get the same airplay support.

The Frankie teaser today is my favourite part of the song atm (thought it would be, judging by the remix), love it!

I can't wait.. 2 Days until we see the video. We might hear it wednesday after midnight because it will be released on Irish Itunes!!!
I doubt Gaga will be much a problem as lots of people will use the 'Complete my album' part of itunes. (Didn't that result in having Taylor Swift having negative sales one week in the US when her album was released?) It's difficult to predict where this will debut as it's all so new. and Ness has some fierce swag in the teaser! :P

If one of the singles dosen't go to #1 before the albums release I highly doubt they will through cherypicking, especially with the 'complete my album' thing.

I like the verses and stuff, but the minute that stupid chipmunk voice plays it completely kills the song for me. :(

This better be HUGE! :( If this is just gonna be another #3 - #8 - #14 - #23 - #21 - #29 - #36 type chart run, it's a complete waste. :( It needs to be HUGE. It needs to be their biggest hit to date, and anything less than six weeks in the top ten will probably be a big dissapointment. I can't bare for this to sell around 175K, drop out the charts quickly, the second single being much better/slightly better selling followed by another top ten album that only gets around 150K album sales. :( I'm fed up of these eras, I want to be a celebrating Saturdays fan! It's always "ahhh, it JUST made the top ten" (Ego/Higher) or "hopefully it'll scrape 150K" (Headlines) or "hmm at least it sold over 150K" (Forever Is Over/Missing You).

I want this to sell at least 400K. COME ON SATURDAYS!!!

Well I have did my bit! Purchased the song Physical (Signed) & Pre-Ordered on Itunes.

I don't know how I expect this to do! Next week it should be around 65k to get to number one? I don't think The Saturdays will get over 50k on there opening week. Missing You had amazing promotion and was promoted everywhere and that opened on 57k. Missing You was also all over Radio & Tv at this moment in time. Next week is vital if they have promotion throughout the week (Lorraine,GrahamNorton/Paul O'Grady,LooseWoman, This Morning) It might and hopefully do it.

I'm just hoping it sells around 400k but like i said it depends on the airplay & video support and with the on air thing so many videos are getting released at once causing problems.

View the single in iTunes and you can listen to 30 second previews although it's barely anything more than we've already heard when you add up all the pieces together lol.

I think I'm more excited about this song than I have been any of the big ones this year (Britney, GaGa, Beyoncé...)

So far regarding TV performances they're doing So You Think You Can Dance? and Koko Pop - nothing else confirmed, although they have been recording tv promo for the last two days.
