I hate the 'bridge' to the song - It's actually the first chorus.... It's like, the best build up EVER, and then Una sings 'Boy, be scared' and I'm like WTF? Tbh, I kinda like it now, cuz it leaves you something to look forward to in the track :P
Madness that they're not promoting until the physical CD is out.

Hopefully they have a BGT performance lined up!!

 

Well, if they're not promoting until around the date the CD is released then no they won't be on BGT. It ends 4th June.

This will continue to climb as the week progresses, remember the music video will increase in rotation each day as well as airplay thus ore people will be aware of the song (and maybe buy it) as the week goes on. I can see them going as high as #4 on iTunes this week.
This is doing way better than I expected. Hopefully it can debut top 10 on the main chart.

#imnotorious is been TT worldwide all the evening, because they are answering questions on twitter.

 

I guess that's a way to promote.

Agreed....the "chorus" is soooo crap! It sounds perfect as a "pre-chorus" (especially the background ooooohoooooohooooooh vocals) and JUST as you think its about to jump into a MASSIVE chorus..its over! So disappointing! Could have been sooo much better :cry:

I disagree that the chorus is crap. It's such a great hook and I like that it's a bit different to their other songs. Usually their choruses are explosive but I like that the beat drops out and it's a different sound.
Dissapointed that Beyonce released her music video this week :( She's all over all the channels for "new video" apart from SmashHits they're playing Notorious.
They have a small banner on the iTunes front page, so that should mabye help boost sales a bit.

Notorious is out now on iTunes Spain, France and Australia. Although I didn't checked other European countries.

Yesterday you couldn't buy it, but now it's completely available.

Good for them! I expected something like #8 today. Hopefully this song will be a very consistent seller.

Extremely suprised that it's #5 :o so pleased for them! It was practically un-heard of untill last week and for it to be #5 already is a massive achievement. I hate to compare them to Gaga, but The Sats are so far doing better than her last single and 2 buzz tracks went (Judas, Edge of Glory, Hair).

 

They're still climbing on iTunes too which is great. This morning there was a 0.04% gap between #5 and #4 and now there's a 0.02% gap (LivePopBar figures here)

I dont know why, but if this is without any promotion really/airplay etc I think this could easily be there highest selling single... their gradually climbing and not dropping... gaining on anyone.. it makes me wonder had they had physicals and promotion could they have been at number one?

I reckon they could have! Its a quiet week aswel so it would have been perfect. Still maybe they could do it next week?
