The beginning couple of seconds of 'Boys Lie' reminds me so much of the opening to 'Girl Overboard' by Girls Aloud on the Tangled Up album. Shame the rest of the song doesn't live up to that.

I can see why certain tracks are bonus ones. Not overly keen on Screw You. Hope it's not a single anytime soon.

MIne hasn't arrived :( It better arrive on Monday DPD!

Maybe it means it's signed?

Where do you think Cheryl's album is going to chart? Bieber is going strong.

SHould be #1, I think Bieber fever just isn't that strong over here, especially with 1D and JLS.

I wish it was, but the signed ones were sold out before I ordered mine :(

Numero Uno

Don't think so.

The album is not that high on iTunes.

Well, it is now! :P #2 and #10.

Justin Bieber #16 without preorders.

It's almost like you want her not to be #1! :P Very pessimistic. I don't really see why her album should falter, coming off the back of the fastest selling single of the year so far.

Justin Bieber doesn't have the same kind of impact here as he does in the US and Canada. Case in point, his Christmas album reached #1 in those territories, but #13 here. His 'Boyfriend' single hasn't sold much more than 180,000 in total here so far. I don't doubt that his new album will do well here, but on paper it should be a Cheryl victory. She has a considerably more successful hit single, and has far more press coverage & hype. Great promotion too.

I shall get the best indication today when I put loads of Cheryl through the till and the odd Bieber.

Don't forget Cheryl has 2 signings as well.

This album is easily her best! I loved 3 Words, but this is way more coherent, has a sound running through it and doesn't just sound like thirteen b-side/demos chucked on a disc, I'm a happy fan right now <3

Teddy Bear is way underrated though, should have been on the main disc cause it's beautiful. Hope, by some crazy miracle, she performs it on tour.

The album is seriously so good

Her best for sure, and each day it grows on me lots.

Now let's hope she gets the number 1 spot ! I've never considered Bieber as a threat, has he ever sold that many albums in the UK ?

I am really loving this album, especially after 2nd and 3rd listens. It's so much stronger than her previous two - the production particularly has improved heaps which I guess is expected when you branch out a bit. Highlights for me are 'Under The Sun', 'Screw You' and 'Sexy Den A Mutha'.

His debut had sold 569k to the end of 2010 so it'll easily be over 600k now. I do still think he's a real threat but I'm leaning more towards Cheryl now than I was about a week ago.

Will give Cheryl's album a full listen later but everything I've heard so far sounds good and a lot better than her previous efforts.

I'm being realistic, unless I am not reading right the information their websites are giving us.

Amazon and Play are big stores, she's only charting #15 and #19, when Bieber is #6 in both charts. She's charting really low...

No doubt in my mind that Cheryl will be number 1 with at LEAST 70k.

^^ The Amazon/Play etc charts don't tend to reflect the eventual midweeks/Sunday chart very accurately.

For instance, Alexandra Burke's 'Heartbreak On Hold' was #88 on Amazon, on her first day of sale (more accurately, Monday at 3:33pm - I found a post I made stating this). She actually charted at #18 on the Sunday.

If anything, it's iTunes that tends to reflect what will end up occurring in the album charts.

#1 A Million Lights (Deluxe)

#2 Believe (Deluxe)

#6 A Million Lights (Standard)

#22 Believe (Standard)

Cheryl will be #1 - the Soldiers' boxset will presumably be added to sales figures, and I'm sure she has enough fans to buy that and at least one other version. Justin's début My Worlds has now sold 700k compared to 3 Words' 990k. I know they're different artists, but then you see that his fanbase couldn't even get his Christmas album top ten, whilst Cheryl's fanbase gave her another almost 500k of Messy Little Raindrops.
I know it's a bit of an ask, but could someone kindly send me a link to the "Soldier Edition" bonus tracks, please? Thank you in advance.
