Can this just leak now please? Clips all over the place, radio rips, Vevo videos, snippets, demo's... I'm getting tired of this waiting! Bieber has leaked, just give us Cheryl and be done with it maaaan.
I'm not going to listen to "Screw You" or any of the others, but that is probably the track I'm most anticipating!

No offence Theo, but I will never get this loon mentality. I'm never like it with Nicki or Rihanna - I just don't understand why someone would buy something without knowing what it's like first but each to their own.

 

'Screw You' sounds fantastic although I think the chorus could've had a little more oomph personally. Still by far her best era yet, the first two were pretty disastrous really, but this feels like this is the kind of music she should've been making all along.

Well I personally see it as less incentive to buy an album if you've already heard/downloaded half of the tracks from it! I've done it for other artists' albums in the past, and then it just feels like a letdown when you've already heard the best tracks (Pink Friday Roman Reloaded is a prime example of that, for me).

This is album is going to be epic!

I'd buy a Rihanna album without listening to any of it first, well apart from the single.

 

'Screw You' is brilliant, I'm glad Wretch 32's part isn't big as I don't like him.

WOW I adore Screw You on first listen, only bad thing about it is that the swear words are blocked out and the fact their won't be an explicit version, but oh well I shall still sing 'f***' lol

Oh. I do it all the time for a Kelly C, Britney and The Killers releases. (I'll be doing it with Nicki's next album now too). :lol: There's just something more satisfying about having not heard your favourite artists album, before you've actually brought it. Makes an album even more special to me, personally. I dunno. It's hard to explain the feeling but it's a pretty nice feeling. Also, agree with Theo. about being put off buying albums that you like, because you've downloaded it and can't be arsed to buy it. :lol:

 

Oh and 'Screw You' is great! Really liking that!

Screw You is RATHER amazing. I had no idea it featured Wretch, somehow. Dunno if it would make a good single but yeah I love it.

 

Also I tend to do the not listening to album leaks thing too. I did it with Britney and Marina. I MEANT to do it with Cheryl but that didn't really happen. I won't listen to anything else after Screw You!

"Under the Sun" is being played at 8am on Capital - that's another that I'm really looking forward to hearing, due to Alex da Kid being on production! :D

Promotion for the album ! And that's clever since the album is going to leak soon anyway !

I like it but I think Screw You is far superior for the 2nd single!
I like this "premiering album songs" tactic - it'll certainly make more people aware that she has an album coming out. Actually feels like there's a buzz about it, outside of the usual fans & loons on Twitter/forums!

On the Soldiers CD, there is :

- Boys lie

- Telescope

Which makes it 8 tracks. There is one missing or it's a video or something.

Just heard and listened to 'Telescope'. It's beautiful. It's as close as she'll get to her own 'Set Fire To the Third Bar', which is fine by me!
Ooh! I love 'Under The Sun'! I think that will be a single at some point definitely! :wub:
