And the Kluminican Republic's entry for BJSC XXXVII is:

RD - Got Me Burnin'

Early odds from FSR Rontvia, Seyetana and Allecian suggest that the Kluminican Republic look set to return their usual 'bottom half of the final' positions.

The Kluminican Republic have slumped out of BJSC XXXVII with a DNQ! RD finished 18th in the semi final with 40 points, and would like to thank Budtar, ChrIseland, Eledan, Espen, PR of Jester, Quotosibb, Xanaga, Isconia and especially Farahtyn for giving Got Me Burnin' points. The Kluminican people were also disappointed to see Budtar, Avalonia and N-Lazone crash out in the semis too, after give them 7,6 and 2 points respectively.

Potential entries for BJSC XXXVIII are:

Bella Vida - Kiss Kiss Me Bang Bang

Wanessa feat. Bam Bam - Sticky Dough

Sneaky Sound System - Big

Thoughts? :D

Sticky Dough  Finally found the album in HQ last night and it just made me fall in love tbh! Though Big is better than We Love for me too, and Kiss Kiss Me Bang Bang is quite good but not as good as the others. I'd go for Sticky Dough!

Shall we add this into the mix too?

Let's get this up and running again!

The 12th entry for the Kluminican Republic in BJSC XXXLI is...

CSS - Hits Me Like A Rock

This fun, quirky indie-pop song is nothing like what we've sent before! It is looking to capture the imagination of the people of the BJSC world. We are hoping to qualify for the final once again, with a view of moving in on the top 10 after just missing out twice in a row.

The Kluminican Republic's entry for BJSC XLIVe is...

It's a fun, summery indie anthem that will be sure to get you smiling! It's currently #3 in the Kluminican charts, which certainly shows the support we have behind our entry! We're hoping to manage a 7th qualification in a row and to keep our place in the YTD top 10 of 2012.

Kluminican Republic have qualifed for the 7th time in a row with Aussie-indie track 'Mermaids' by Jinja Safari! The public weren't too confident their country was going to make it this time as it had only been predicted to go through by Sandeborg and the odds didn't look to great either. But once again the Kluminican Republic have been underestimated and are now waiting for the draw for the final! However the public were disappointed that their 12 point song, Isconian entry 'In The Jungle' by Elliphant didn't qualify. This is the second time in a row this has happened as last contest Budtar's infamous entry (and Kluminican 12 pointer) TTYLXOX/Something To Dance For didn't make it through.

As of next contest (XLVI) the Kluminican Republic shall now be known as just Kluminica due to a change in government! :cheer: We have also reformed our first page to look snazzier and jazzier moving into the future!

Ooh! I do like your first page!! Very posh!

First Johnkm changes his country name. Now Klumzee. Whoever next? :o

Following the success of 'Boys Will Be Boys', I reckon 'All Around The World' will do well with the pop lovers. Might get some guilty pleasure points from the indie block. ;D

I'm totally going to claim responsibility for this whole government change ~TREND~ Charlie, Johnkm and now Klumzee - who else? :kink:

Anyway, I approve of this (kind of) name change!

It's only been shrunk and centred! Thanks anyway!

I've thinking about it for a while as the 'republic' part is a bit clunky and 'Kluminica' is a lot quicker to type  I guess John changing his just prompted me to finally get on and change mine too!

Hmm, I don't know if All Around The World will do as well as that! Perhaps top 20? But I think it will definitely finish lower than Heat Of The Night. :(

You go and do that! The 'change of government' is only a cover up for the emperor's laziness as he can't be bothered to type out 'Kluminican Republic' anymore. :kink:

easily the darkhorse of this competition.

Aww thank you! :D I think it's a bit too generic and in your face to do that well, but I think top 20 could be realistic looking at the odds and predictions so far!

Well tbh, it's one of my favourite songs in the entire contest and I know I'm not the only one who thinks that!

But not everyone has great taste like you Lee :( This really was a last-minute 'seeing as I've got nothing else to send' kind of entry so as long as it qualifies I'm pretty happy! I'm really excited about what I'm entering to XLVI though! My current obsession

I much prefer All Around The World to Heat Of The Night and from what I've seen it's that way for a lot of Paulina fans! Obviously that's a different base of people to Buzzjack but it's positive.

I think with so many 'hipster smoothies' joining, All Around The World won't be able to do as well as Heat Of The Night although I'd like it to, but I'd personally be shocked if it didn't finish top 20.
