I did find the lack of swear words in 'Sweat' a little odd given it's Snoop Dogg :lol: I haven't heard the hip hop version and have no intention to ever do so, the dance version is good enough for me :wub: New personal chart #1 for me tomorrow. It sounds a bit like a mash-up of the two Swedish House Mafia singles which is always a good thing.

 

By the way, the (censored) hip hop version of Sweat is at #158.

Not 100% sure so want to check, but is the dance version the one that R1 are playing? I don't mind it, growing on me. Not David Guetta's best, not his worst either.

I wonder is both versions will be combined. I guess the David Guetta version is a remix, so I'd think they'd be combined, but remember when they wanted to combine We Bring the Stars Out with Pass Out? :lol: I wouldn't be surprised if they did something stupid. If they do get combined, this will be another one of those cases where a remix is more popular than the original.

 

The hip hop version is okay. There isn't a huge amount of swearing in it, but there's a lot of sexual content in it (although Snoop Dogg wrote it for Prince William's bachelor party, so it's supposed to be a bit raunchy. :lol:). David Guetta's remix will definitely be more successful though. It's probably better, and I think most of the general public would find the original version boring. Radio 1Xtra have playlisted the hip hop version, but their listeners will obviously be accustomed to that type of music. :lol: People listening to Capital or Radio 1 might prefer the David Guetta mix.

WBTSO was a medley though, unfair to combine it with one song. This is a remix, it will be combined it will be interesting to see who OCC state as the artist.

Yay!!! :w00t: Shocked it's doing so well on so little promotion. David Guetta must have a really good fanbase going now. I don't think Snoop Dogg has much of a fanbase here. Although he's been in the news a lot the past couple of days due to his friend dieing (:(), so maybe that's helped a bit.

yeah this is my favourite era of his it's such a shame it's not done as good as some of the others. though i suppose no one really knows he's got songs out he's done no promotion here. glad all of the lights is doing well now though. but down to 28.. :(
