Hmm The Sun have published the songs, the couples are skating to, on tomorrow's Dancing On Ice semi final:

The Last Dance - Claire Maguire

Firework - Katy Perry

L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N - Noah And The Whale

Don't Stop The Music - Jamie Cullum (cover of Rihanna)

And hopefully Clare too!!!

And hopefully Clare too!!!

Definitely! She did a beautiful performance on Alan Titchmarsh this week but I guess the audience wouldn't have been so high, so hopefully playing it on DOI will get the song rising again!

Hopefully Noah can get top 10 next week then :D

Its gonna be a close race between the top 3... i dont know, im expecting Nicole to clinch it.

In other news, apparently Born This Way is back to #1 on WorldWide iTunes! Yay :)

It's #2 at the moment.

Apparently Just Can't Get Enough by the Black Eyed Peas is the most downloaded song from iTunes in the world at the moment!!!! :w00t:

I've also recently seen On the Floor, Loser Like Me and S&M at #1.

Snoop Dogg & David Guetta are at 7 - good song but David has and can do so much better

And hopefully Parade will fall really really fast with their terrible song. They sound like the 2011 version of GCC but having slightly better success (top ten). They won't be the next Saturdays however

Where is take that happy now on itunes, i live in ireland so i cant access the uk i tunes???

Yes you can.

A) www.livepopbars.com lists the top 100 for every country.

B) The UK feed link in the first post works outside of the UK.

C) You can change the country of iTunes anyway.

(To answer your question they're at #21)

The Axis Of Awesome - Four Chords is at #89 :D Surprised it's gone as high as that given how late they were on on CR.

Delighted with how well take that are doing, happy now has already out peaked kidz on itunes which is quite impressive.

Thank you for your post bray im gona give that a go now.

:o

Do you mean the first bit or the last bit?

By the first bit I meant, even if we don't like a song or whatever, it still deserves to get to #1 if it does, however terrible it is. Because whoever compiles the chart lays out the rules, and then whichever song is determined as the #1 by those rules is the #1. That's like fair enough. So, for example, I think Grenade is a very poor song, but it got to #1 fair and square, so I just have to deal with it.

If you meant the second bit, what I mean about Poker Face not really deserving to get to #1. Right Round was #1 in the US for 6 weeks. Now it should have got a 7th week at #1 quite easily, except, shock, horror, it gets deleted off iTunes part way through the week, and Poker Face narrowly beat it to #1 in the end. That DOES seem a bit unfair, because Right Round missed out on its 7th week at #1 because iTunes messed up. It would've easily beaten Poker Face otherwize, and Poker Face would've peaked at #2 (as it only had the one week at #1, Boom Boom Pow dethroned it from #1 the week after, and stayed at #1 for 12 weeks. I love Boom Boom Pow, but now, THAT would be torture! :o).

Also, talking about Poker Face, I heard that Natalia Kills song a while ago. I really don't like it. :( It sounds very generic, boring and old-fashioned tbh. Seriously, this is 2011, not 1985. :( I don't care what the artist is like, or what its music video is like, as a song, it is boring imo. :(

Lol, I meant the second bit. I'd forgotten that RR was deleted part way through the week and that helped PF get the #1 spot for 1 week. I was pissed with BBP at the time, didn't PF spend like 7 of those 12 weeks BBP was #1 at #2? :(

Anyway, PF deserved #1 in the US, and for more than 1 week. Its one of the defining songs of the last 5 years.

Mcfly's Shine a Light is hanging around quite a bit it's now at 97 and Thats the Truth is at 99

I guess Poker Face was probably at #2 a lot. Bad Romance was at #2 a lot aswell (behind Empire State of Mind and Tik Tok). Although, in my opinion, Right Round and Boom Boom Pow are both far superior to Poker Face, and Empire State of Mind and Tik Tok were both far superior to Bad Romance, so I agree with how that all turned out tbh. To be fair, all 6 of those songs were massive anyway. Empire State of Mind is a classic. Boom Boom Pow has had a massive effect on mainstream music the past couple of years (see Like a G6, OMG, Get Sexy, Commander, Gettin' Over You, etc.), and will probably continue to do so. And Right Round and Tik Tok are Ke$ha. Enough said there!

I actually hated Poker Face at the time. And I still do now. :(

In 20 years time, when kids hear Poker Face, they'll be shocked to discover it was released in 2008, I reckon. They'll think it's from Boney M's time probably.

Yeah I actually agree with that. It has a definite element of cheese that makes it seem more retro than it is.

I heard it on the radio the other day for the first time in ages and it didn't sound like a late 2000's decade song.

Yeah, that's one thing that annoyed me about it. It was more an issue with Bad Romance than Poker Face, but I couldn't gather how such an old-fasioned-sounding song could be apparently revolutionizing pop music! I don't have too much of an issue with songs that sound dated. I like Price Tag at the moment, which sounds quite dated, but just the way people talked about it! It was so frustrating. It sounded frighteningly similar to one of the compositions I did for GCSE music!

Nicole has number one on the bag, i believe she's increasing on the WANTED, Wanted leads not that big to pull out 30k lead on nicole in two days.

Till the World Ends will be lucky to see top 20 I think, the video wont do much (similar effect as Hold it Against Me) I cant see radio majorly supporting it, it appears Britneys big days are over and I wonder if the album is going to do what Bionic did for Aguilera :o

I think Nicole will be #1 tomorrow!

Also Adele's performance has had a big impact, live version right up to #11 again :o and thats from the brits

An album that has spent 8 weeks at #1 and a single which has been #1 for 4 weeks already I'm amazed.

Eyes Wide Shut right up to #22! Thats nearly 20 places its climbed before comic relief, thats great for JLS!

MYFML STILL #38

Firework and L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N and possibly (but not as much as first two) The Last Dance will all benefit well from DOI tomorrow night. Also would be nice to see Dont Stop The Music back in top 100 at least, one of rihanna's best no doubt! :w00t: Can tell thats going to be a great routine with a song like that :P

Parade #23 :o One week in top 40 is a possibility, that said at least it charted in top 40 not like Wonderland.

#21 & #31 for Happy Now and Kidz for Take That, really impressive considering the album has done so so well!

Had no idea F**kin Perfect has fallen all the way down to #32 whats happened there :o Surprising.

Not looking good for Parade! :o It's likely they'll chart somewhere between 10-13ish this week and fall to the edge of the top 40 (if not right out :o) :(
