The CIN Medley never went top 10 on iTunes - it went up to #11 immediately after its release (it was actually released after its premiere unlike IKHSW) and then plummetted out of the top 100 but still had a big lead at #1 for 2 weeks.

In any case, 'maturity' has nothing to do with it - it's *my* iPod, so why shouldn't I decide not to put music I don't like on it? After all, surely you decide to put only music you like, on yours?

 

As for the rap-free versions, I shall certainly be looking for them, but it's not always obvious which is which from the credits, and the 30 second clips you can play before buying aren't always sufficient to make sure it's the version you want.

You need to download Real Player, open Internet Explorer (not Firefox or Opera as it doesn't work on them), and then visit YouTube and dial up J Lo No Rap On The Floor. You'll be amazed at all the button gadgetry you'll have there :P ;)

Glad Peter Kay is doing well- it doesn't necessarily need to get top 10 on itunes, but that would only help it- plus even if it doesn't sell well with a CD, surely the DVD will sell lots

Nicole's album is released isn't it? So that might cause re-entries from Poison and Heartbeat (there's a new version of Heartbeat on her album)? They might not re-enter the top 40, but they'll surely climb up the charts anyway.

That's a really good song!!! I hope it does. :D I've only heard it once on the radio though, but if it makes as much an impression on everybody else as it did on me when I heard it, then it might sell a bit. :)

lol. Neither me! :lol: It's #21 on UK iTunes at the moment, so I think it could make top 40 next week unless it falls really fast.

 

Also, new albums from Chris Brown, Lil Wayne and Pitbull apparently. Look At Me Now is the only album track I can see doing well from those. Unless Chris Brown has done an Eminem and put Rihanna on a song! :o :lol:

 

Just read that Someone Like You IS getting a single release in over a month! Wow. What a waste. Not to mention, that means we'll probably have to wait until at least June or July for Set Fire to the Rain to be released. Oh well.

Yeah, especially if the single version still has the price cut into next week.

 

Although it would be a bit peculiar if the album version is more expensive, but people buy it, even though there's an identical cheaper version to get! But we'll see what happens.

 

I also forgot another possible top 40 entry next week.

 

Thriller/Heads Will Roll by Glee Cast. This song is actually really, really, really good imo! It almost sounds like a completely new song imo. I reckon this could finally get Glee Cast back in the top 10 on iTunes! I think Singing in the Rain/Umbrella narrowly missed out by getting to #11 on iTunes.

The Glee cast have not even managed to get a top 15 hit this year, i think it's because it's so far behind USA.. Maybe Loser Like Me might get top 10! They should be promoting Imo.. even if it's sending like 2-3 people to the United Kingdom.

They haven't even had a top 20 hit so far this year, SITR/U is their highest peaker at #22.

Also, I think we're less behind the US now, because I think Glee had a hiatus in the US around this time, so I think we're now 2 months behind instead of 4 months behind, or whatever, which might help a bit!

Yeah they had a break december - feburary.

 

We're on the Superbowl eposide so we're 5eposides behind them, they have a 3 week hiatus now so they will always be ahead of us.. Dissapointing as last year we got the finale before them. They should have not included the Xmas eposide, It didin't have any story which couldn't be included in the next eposide.

 

Total Eclipse went to number 9 i think?

Telephone went to 8 on Itunes and dropped down majorly!

Telephone went top 10 on iTunes, but then charted officially at #26! :lol: I'm sure 'Thriller/Heads Will Roll' will beat the peak of SITR/U as it's a mash-up, so you can't get the original and that it's probably the most 'hyped' song so far this series.

Total Eclipse was their last top 20 hit. Run Joey Run was #27 the same week and Poker Face also got to #27 afterwards. Their only other post-TEOTH top 40 hits from series 1 were Jessie's Girl (#33) and I Dreamed A Dream (#36).

Amazing song by Cee Lo Green! Hope it goes Top 20 but i doubt! It's OK managed only #20 :(
