Peter Kay and Susan Boyle :P

Are you sure? Still #45 on iTunes atm. ^_^

'Friday' free faller at #73. :(

Don't Hold Your Breath deserves to be number one, people were expecting this to flop or low 20's love how it's did so well and should have brilliant opening sales!
Its selling sod-all on download - physical sales simply won't be able to overcome that lack.

and did that stop the Official Children In Need Medley? :P even if it doesn't, top 3 will be minimum

Peter Kay and Susan Boyle :P

Forgot about them ^_^

On a side issue, why do so many rappers appear unwilling/afraid to release solo singles?

because most rap is quite boring, they need a good singer to sing a hook for them.

physicals and DVD sales will be very big

It's not even Top 40 on iTunes, though. I doubt that the physical sales will be big enough to push the song to #1.

Is for charity right?

Wasn't the Children in Need Medley Top 40 on iTunes though?

It was released straight after CIN at midnight and went straight to the top 20- but then dropped off very quickly and was barely top 50 by Tuesday

I don't think it was even top 100 on its second week and it still sold over 100k- which was incredible imo :o

I'm not saying its a certainty, but don't use itunes as an indicator of its success

Parade  28 !

I know, I'm raging - They'll be lucky to scrape the top 35 this week...... Good opening sales but..

I reckon something dodgy is going on here.. no one expected them to make the top 10 in the first place.

How can that be possible?

That's not necessary, but thanks.

It's just that so many of the female singers I like seem to be jumping on the collaboration bandwagon - OK, that doesn't really apply to J-Lo as she's done so before - but to me it just seems disloyal to your fans to do so, just for the sake of expediency.

I wouldn't say they're neccessarily unwilling/afraid, I think it's more that they simply can't!

The public seem to prefer hip hop and rap songs with a strong melodious hook, for example. Rappers do often sing some of their hooks, but often it's simply better to have a proper vocalist do it.

I expected them to go Top 10... I highly doubt that something dodgy is going on.

....And I thought they'd go top 10!! Next weeks chart run for them is gonna be hilarious...It'll be like: 10-40?
