I can see On The Floor getting to #1 next week and then Just Can't Get Enough the week after

Thats what I'm thinking Sabrina. I'd be happy with that.

Me too! That would be AWESOME!!!! :D

Awesome to see the Black Eyed Peas up to #3!!!!!! :o

Glee Cast down to #12. :( I think their chance at top 10 on iTunes is gone then. I hope Snoop Dogg doesn't fall out either!

Mann/50 Cent up to #14!

Chris Brown/Justin Bieber up to #23!! :o It'll probably need to climb higher than #23 to make top 40 though. Didn't expect this to do so well, considering how slowly it took off compared to Look At Me Now (which is still #38, perhaps that's where it'll peak).

LMFAO up to #25! Gosh they've climbed a lot today!

Also, that version of Buzzin' at the lower end of the top 100 charts seperately to the real version, so I think it's a fake/cover version.

I'm still on the fence with JCGE. I really like Fergie's bits, especially the ways she pronounces some of the words (e.g. in the American Idol performance) but not sure about the rest. I think I need to hear it some more as it probably just hasn't clicked.

On The Floor, on the other hand, I've had on repeat the last 2 days (the J-Lo only version Regina kindly linked me too). Its easily my second favourite song of the year, behind Jessie's Price Tag.

Hope it gets #1, even if only for a week, as it is too good IMO to miss out.

I agree. 'On The Floor' is a brilliant pop/dance track and if it was Madonna, it'd be heading to #1 with 100k sales (see 'Hung Up' :D ) so I hope Jennifer Lopez does get to #1 next week.

I also like 'Just Can't Get Enough' by BEP - it's definitely a massive improvement on 'The Time (Dirty Bit)' so if that song was able to do well, then 'JCGE' deserves to be massive too - but peak at #2 behind 'On The Floor' please.

I really can't see On The Floor getting anywhere other than number 1 at this point (although my predictions haven't been great of late :P ) I'm not keen on it, but if it prevents Adele from getting another week- I'm all for it

I want both On the Floor and Just Can't Get Enough to get #1. With Just Can't Get Enough, I really don't have a clue how much more it'll climb, if at all. I mean, it could peak at #3 on iTunes (although I hope it doesn't).

J-Lo's best chance at #1 will be in its first week. It's rare for a #1 song that's held back for so long not to debut there (the only example I can think of that didn't was We No Speak Americano, which must've been held back for like 3 or 4 months, and still debuted only at #5, but did climb to #1 a couple of weeks later).

It's a cover by D.Rec.or.d as far as I can tell.

Thanks! :D Is it an actual cover, or have they done like Hype Squad and got the original version, and just changed it a tiny bit?!

Another example would be Flo Rida's "Club Can't Handle Me" which also debuted at 5 and climbed to number 1. Would like to see J-Lo SMASH at number one with 120k sales. I mean, if Nicole can do 100 J-Lo can surely do more, maybe not 120k but I'd like to see good sales for her. It will also be Pitbull's first UK Number One :yahoo:

Black Eyed Peas Combined are #03

So does that mean they could go top 3 this week?? is the video out yet on uk channels??

Club Can't Handle Me wasn't held back for ages though. We No Speak Americano was around since like February I think, whilst Club Can't Handle Me was only held back like a month for the UK, I think.

I agree, next week will be the battle of the songs than mention 'Inception'. Love them both, but want OTF to get it and the JCGE the week after.

Well of course dance songs are held back for longer, but the average person didn't know about WNSA in February, it only started to get popular a few weeks before it charted, I know this because it was meant to be released 2 weeks later, but iTunes changed the date due to popular demand. OTF has been around since January if I'm correct so that will be longer than CCHM.

Top 10 Update :D

1 Adele

Someone Like You

2 Nicole Scherzinger

Don't Hold Your Breath

3 The Black Eyed Peas

Just Can?t Get Enough

4 The Wanted

Gold Forever

5 Wiz Khalifa

Black and Yellow

6 Rihanna

S&M

7 Dr. Dre

I Need a Doctor (feat. Eminem & Skylar Grey)

8 Jessie J

Price Tag (feat. B.o.B)

9 Adele

Rolling In The Deep

10 Snoop Dogg & David Guetta

It got popular ages before it charted though. It used to keep appearing on compilation albums, and going top 40 on iTunes, and that was months before it was eventually released too.

I didn't know about it in February though, that's true. But I'm sure it was top 40 on iTunes as early as May or something.

EDIT: It went top 40 on iTunes on 6th June.

Can't believe how bad a charity single is doing! They performed it on Comic Relief and still #31? Hope at least the whole work around comic relief brought a decent amount of money for this charity!
Chris Brown/Justin Bieber are #4 on iTunes in the US!!!!! :o Good grief! :o It's done a mini-Love the Way You Lie!

Yes of course you're right. WNSA was on a compilation album and it went top 40 and I was praying for it to go top 40 officially, before it sadly got taken off. The compilation was called Sensation Wicked Wonderland - Portugal 2010, I know cos I bought WNSA on 6th June and it has 95 plays on my iTunes, something that is only beaten by the classic that never was "Push The Feeling On" by The Nightcrawlers (peaked at 22 in the charts :() and Michael Jackson "Who Is It", my younger brother is responsible for all of WII's plays. Anyway that's enough off topicness!

In on-topic news, BEPs are up to 3! Mann is up to 13! Kayne up to 15! Birdy up to 17, Chris & Justin up to 22, LMFAO up to 24 and Cee-Lo up to 25. BEPs are also at 36, so hopefully a top 5 smash this Sunday then number 2 behind JLo next week

Edited by danielGaGa

Yes! Go LMFAO! :D Hopefully they'll make the official top 40 this week, I can only see it getting bigger, perhaps top 10?

Good to see there's quite a lot of new songs getting into the top 40 :D
