Does Peter Kay play Geraldine on IKHSW? If so this could be his fourth #1 with four different credits.

(Tony Christie feat.) Peter Kay

(The Proclaimers feat.) Brian Potter (and Andy Pipkin)

Peter Kay's Animated All Star Band

(Susan Boyle and) Geraldine

Could happen.

Adele after her performance could be #1 officially come Sunday if it can catch up and then take the lead from Nicole, but either way I'm happy, SLY could even go #1 next week again as DHYB will definitely wall from #1 unless anything else with #1 potential is released on Sunday?

On the Floor will be #1 I think, is that out in April?

as I've stated numerous times before, its too late to catch up even if she gets a huge lead, I think people are already familiar with the song this time around, so I don't think the effect will quite be as big (although it will go back to number 1 on itunes)

next week Peter Kay will be number 1- I'm pretty certain

Are everyone so sure that Dont hold your breath is going to drop that badly? i mean Nic is coming back to UK next week. because she is releasing her album. March 21 I think

I don't think it is too late, remember JTWYA managed to scrape back #1 on the download chart and came *really* close to knocking cee Lo off #1 after the huge boost XF gave him? I think the gap might be a bit bigger this time but I don't think a fifth week at #1 for Adele can be totally ruled out.

but wasn't he already at number 1 on itunes before X Factor? I might be wrong in that, but I think that made his already decent lead huge, I guess theres a small chance, but it would certainly surprise me seeing as no song has ever been number 1 officially who has only climbed to itunes number 1 after Thursday

Bright Lights Bigger City Top 40! Hope it keeps climbing! Superb song!

Is Kidz officially released or is only album version at 33? It deserves at least Top 15

No, he wasn't. He was at 3 or 4 IIRC. I'll look it up.

EDIT: He was #1 but Cee Lo was still #1 combined by a mile (it was at 4 & 8). Adele is closer to #1 now than Bruno was then. I think he might actually have been #3 combined as Duck Sauce were at 2 with a second version top 40. It was definitely #3 in the mids as I recall being really annoyed at it leapfrogging Duck Sauce at the last second.

Comic Relief on soon

I'm guessing Make You Feel My Love or something of the sort will be used as background music

Nope, i prefer it too :D

Glad I'm not the only one

agree with your first part, not your second :P

 so you don't like either ?

Sabrina I love both songs, both could never annoy me. I've been listening to SLY since Jools Holland and i still listen to it at least acouple of times a day on my ipod (I listen to my ipod a lot ) I actually heard SLY before RITD. They're both really different, and both great at same time. Love them. :D Cant wait for Set Fire To The Rain to be on the charts, TV and the Radio, so curious to see the video!

I do like both songs. I just prefer Rolling In The Deep and would rather that was the song doing better

Bruno Mars was #1 on iTunes before JTWYA was performed on the X Factor, but I think it #3 in the mid-weeks all week (behind Barbra Streisand and Forget You), and I believe that the X Factor performance almost got him to #1, despite being only a few hours until the end of the week. His pop bar was almost double the #2's after the performance! :o

I think Someone Like You could get #1. I'm about 50:50. If it does get #1 this week, it won't be a surprise.

I agree with you. Someone Like You isn't terrible. It's just a very instant song. On the first few listens I was like "Wow", and now I'm, errrr, not. I still love Rolling in the Deep though, and I agree it should be doing better. I can see myself still liking RITD in a few years time, possibly! :)

I like Someone Like You, but I'm getting bored of it now (the part I agreed with) and I never liked Rolling In The Deep :P

Pretty much exactly repeating my point. It was #1 on the download chart that week so Cee Lo was only ahead on digital EPs and physicals.

Friday :kink: it that song a joke?

NO, it's a child singing a song that's aimed at other children.

Sorry, I was trying to back up your point, than to repeat it.

In other news, Black and Yellow down to #5. :( And Sweat up to #6!! :D

I heard Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa are going to release a joint album this year!! A bit like Jay-Z and Kanye West are doing! :D

I think it is a joke. I actually kind of like it though.

definitely!

It has never been meant as a joke, why should it be a joke? It's a joke by adult standards. And obviously it's doing so well because it's was initially perceived as a joke but then many people somehow became addicted.
