BTW, WTF is up with LivePopBars? :(

Every time I try to access it now, all I get is the background, with a banner advert where the chart should be?

Never mind - seems to be OK now.

Maroon 5's re-released album "Hands All Over" is now up to #11 on the iTunes album chart. Not bad considering. Maybe people are rediscovering the band and taking an interest now with the success of MLJ.

But they're not top 30 on the actual album mids which is what actually counts. I'm surprised it's not doing better.

They were hovering around the low 20's for the most of this week. I think it's only today they've climbed up to #11 which is a sharp increase.

I would suspect it is the physical sales that is keeping it from climbing high in the mids. It is actually out as I've checked a few retailers.

Maybe it could climb a bit officially by the weekend then. It is now top 10 on iTunes.

Possibly, I wouldn't think by much if I'm being honest.

I walked into HMV yesterday and I saw the new revised version on the shelves. I think it could be top 20 next week if it continues climbing. Earlier in the week the repackaged version on Play.com was being dispatched within 3-5 days which would indicate they perhaps didn't have that many copies. It's changed now back to dispatch within 24 hours. It's climbing up the HMV music chart and Play.com bestseller chart, as I keep checking. No sign of it on Amazon despite the revised version being on there.

Olly #93

Kasabian straight in at #1 as expected.

Both versions of '+' are still #2 and #3 :o Normally when one album takes up both of the top 2 one of the versions falls away within a few days, these two are holding up fantastically.

Scroobius Pip #11! :D

Has he broken free of Dan Le Sac? Shame, they work so well together.

They're both releasing solo albums, Le Sac's will be out next year.

I don't see how Dan Le Sac would work on his own. Scroobius Pip solo I can just about see.

Distraction Pieces isn't that much different really, it's slightly less 'dance' I suppose but singles like Letter From God To Man and Look For The Woman weren't anyway. The strong point of the material has always been the lyrics anyway.

Wow, HAO is a fiver to be fair though, I'm thinking about getting it next week.
Hands All Over is also amazing. It was even before MLJ.

Oh, that explains HAO's mysterious rise to the top 20 in the mids today. Hopefully this will encourage more people to get the album and less to cherrypick MLJ I guess

Lady Antebellum now back down to #3, James back in the top 2. Adele at #4, You Me At Six #5, Ed Sheeran #6 and #10, Ben Howard #7 and #9 and Kasabian #8.

EDIT: Actually that may have been an old feed, it's now showing LA back at #2.
