March 25, 201115 yr I guess some people never got round to buying her debut album, after listening to 21, now people are picking up her debut album as well. I guess that's the main reason why 19 is doing so well at the moment. yeah, this happens sometimes when artists or bands have huge second albums - it happened with Oasis and The Corrs. March 25, 201115 yr I like Adele, I think she has a great voice...but 'Someone Like You' is a classic example of what happens when the 'mainstream' audience who usually aren't interested in chart music start buying music again. This also used to happen with albums from the likes of Dido and Norah Jones. they tend to drag out their purchases for weeks, long after the music fans (and sometimes even the radio and tv stations) have got bored and moved on to something new. with mothers day around the corner her albums will be at the top for a lot longer yet.

March 25, 201115 yr I have a feeling Subo/Geraldine will end up at 11 come sunday. It's falling on itunes and i think it had risen due to all the promo Geraldine was doing. She was never off the tv this week.

March 25, 201115 yr Great to see Kanye et al top 20! :cheer: Wish Nicole was top 5 albums though :( SuGer doing a lot better than I expected! :o Although they have high physicals obviously, I was only expecting low 20, not top 10 (even if it is just inside)!

Hopefully some HUGE contenders can come and knock them both out of the top 10 soon, it's really making me lose hope in the charts. As for the top 40, great to see Cee Lo Green doing well, and Mann ft. 50 Cent plus Kanye West et al are surpassing all expectations; which is great. Hopefully Snoop Dogg and Guetta can knock SuBo and Geraldine out of the top 10 by Sunday.

March 25, 201115 yr This getting insane now, where is Adele finding all these new buyers from? It's one thing that "21" is doing so well, but to see "19" crushing everything else is just bizarre. Thought the Strokes had #2 in the bag, it's borderline insulting.
