Let's continue discussing all things WWE (or WWF - Go old school if you wish!) in here.

In the last thread, Christian was rumoured to be in the main event at Wrestlemania (according to Lee Wallace) and Zechhh seems to think that Corre vs. Big Show/Kane/Santino/Kozlov will happen...

KEEP DISCUSSING :D

Jonjo, trust you to make this topic! If One of us ever hold family fortunes we need to include a wwe question.

Yeah, i read on wrestlezone Christian would be in the main event, the seem to be building that up.. why would Christian win 3matches in a row against Del Rio? I think it will be announced on Raw next week with Albero Del Rio going over Christian, he's been losing like mad recently (7losing streak) I'm not really enjoying the buildup for Edge vs Del Rio.

Miz vs Cena is all for Rock to screw Cena Imo.. Or for Cena to win then feud with Rock. WWE have been focusing on the other people rather than the main events imo, hence why they will have something to do with the main events..

Corre vs Kane & Big Show is Gauranteed for WM imo, no doubt be awful.. i can see Kofi cashing in re-match clause at wm aswell.

Corre vs Kane & Big Show is Gauranteed for WM imo, no doubt be awful..

Why?

It will probably a 5 minute throwaway match so there won't be too many boring parts. And Kane and especially Big Show throwing small people around is always fun. And Gabriel and Slater can bump pretty well.

Thanks for starting the thread. I'm quite busy ATM. So will barely been on BJ for a few months. Hopefully Christian will be added otherwise it wouldn't make sense him going after Del Rio and not having a part in the match at WM.

WrestleZone has learned exclusively the announce team, as of this evening, for Wrestlemania 27 will be Josh Matthews and Booker T, with WWE Chairman Vince McMahon's plan to have Jim Ross as the special announcer for the Lawler vs Cole, WWE Title, and Undertaker vs HHH main event as well.

"Everything may change 100 times between now and Wrestlemania," a key WWE insider told us this evening, "but right now Vince likes the idea of JR calling the main event and also he likes Josh Matthews and Booker getting the chance to step up and call the show."

f*** off, Booker T. :(

He is terrible on commentary.

Josh Matthews is good and JR obviously awesome but why Booker? I want Striker back. Or Scott Stanford. He's really good on Superstars.

How come Roddy Piper doesn't commentate now? Too many ties to the old school? So does Lawler.

JBL was great on commentary. He should come back.

Another great episode of SmackDown this week. Lots of good wrestling. Punk vs. Rey is always good and Kofi vs. Barrett was amazing, especially the finish:

Cole was great again as well. I comepletely lost it at the DOJO comments.

And there's hope of Christian being in the WM main event.

2 months ago, I wasn't sold on WrestleMania. But the way they have built most of the matches, I am really looking forward to it and can't wait.

I really want Kofi vs Wade on the card

Smackdown this week i can see Alberto Del rio vs Christian(If christian wins he gets del rio's place in the main event) It ends up a DQ or something then christian gets added.

But that would be 2 days before the event. I don't think they would change something that late.

If nothing happens this monday on RAW, we won't get the 3-way, I'm afraid.

there is enormous heat on WWE heel play-by-play announcer Michael Cole over his homophobic tweet directed at Josh Matthews. Even though WWE has given the impression the situation has been addressed, we have confirmed through multiple sources that WWE Chairman Vince McMahon felt Cole embarrassed the entire company, and many in World Wrestling Entertainment feel Cole has overstepped his bounds because he's letting his push go to his head.

WWE and GLAAD announced a partnership on March 17 to try and put an end to bullying based on sexual orientation after a series of homophobic taunts was made by John Cena.

An official statement released by WWE after GLAAD came out again Cena's remarks said, "WWE takes this issue very seriously, and has already spoken with our talent about these incidents. We are taking steps and working with GLAAD to ensure that our fans know that WWE is against bullying or discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation."

After WWE avoided a major controversy regarding Cena's scripted comments, Michael Cole tweeted a one word message to Monday Night Raw announcer Josh Matthews, and the comment was picked up by TMZ.

Cole immediately removed the post, but it was posted on TMZ and picked up by media sources everywhere. You can't hide what you've already posted, and Cole immediately went into spin mode and apologized on Twitter.

However, WWE still decided to comment on the matter, which was already spiraling out of control.

A rep for WWE told TMZ, "WWE has alerted GLAAD to the situation and spoken to Michael Cole about his post. He has removed it and apologized for using hateful language. Michael will be included in the training session being done by GLAAD. WWE takes this very seriously and is against discrimination of any kind based on sexual orientation, gender, race, religion or other."

At least two key insiders in WWE have told WrestleZone that if Cole wasn't so prominently featured in the push for this year's Wrestlemania against Jerry "The King" Lawler, he would have been fired by Executive Producer Kevin Dunn or Vince McMahon himself. No word on if Cole has seen Dunn or McMahon in person since the incident, or if he will see them for the first time in Chicago for the go-home edition of Monday Night Raw

Wow, blown way out of proportion.

It's being reported that The Rock's return to WWE thus far has worked out much better than both sides ever expected it to. As we first reported in an exclusive you can read if you CLICK HERE, WWE is already anticipating Rock vs John Cena, and it looks as if The Miz will be involved in the mix as well.

While WWE is keeping a very tight lid on what future plans The Rock has with the company, it's being said that The Rock has enjoyed his WWE return so much that he is indeed open to working a few more matches with the company. If Cena vs Rock does not take place first, then the feeling is that Rock vs Miz will be The Rock's first bout, with Cena vs Rock happening at a later date.

As far as Sheamus is concerned, early 'Mania plans called for The Bella Twins to be in his corner and Gail Kim to be in the corner of Daniel Bryan for their match, however it appears as if that idea has been scratched.

WWE originally had planned for The Corre to face Big Show, Kane, Christian and Kofi Kingston in a tag team match at Wrestlemania, but at this time it looks as if Christian will be involved in the World Title match instead. One idea being discussed is to have Christian in Edge's corner for his match against Alberto Del Rio, only to turn on Edge and cost him the title. This would set up three-way matches after Wrestlemania.

Boo Raw is back on at 2am now because of the clocks, might give it a miss tonight, although The Rock appearing does sound intriguing!

WHAT? :o

Will be watching tonight probably. Not sure if I should waste my time though, might just tune in for the Cole/King promo and switch off. Smackdown has been a billion times better and worthy of the time.

I've just put NXT on, what is the point of this season of it? The winner gets put into the next season of it, how odd. Thought they'd stop the idea for about a year or so to give it a break, not just keep putting new seasons of it on constantly

The whole crowd cheering/chanting for Punk confused me... are they in his hometown or something? Orton will always be better for me

YESSS. E&C teaming up for the first time in 6 years

Yeah it's in Chicago.

Looking forward to Edge & Christian aswell :w00t:

Doesn't look like it :( Shame really, Christian is one of my favourites but it doesn't look like he's going to have a match at all. Interested to see the role he plays in the match though!
