I'm confused... the McMahon/Punk thing... did that all come about from real backstage shenanigans? :unsure: Or is it just a storyline? Either way, this is phenomenal! Some of the best work WWE has done in a LOOOONNNNGGGG TIME. Just watching the Vince/Cena promo now (just got up to the part where Cena comes out - Waiting for it to load) it's supposed to be some of the best work in WWE! GAH I'm EXCITED TO SEE IT LOL.

 

Also do we think Vince is gonna screw CM Punk and do another "screw job"? I don't think he will as it'll be too obvious. I do see a MITB winner cashing in on Punk though...

 

Nah SuperCena will win again :( I'm soo genuinely tired of him ATM.

I would love to see Punk Win [which will never happen if Cena loses he gets fired] and defend it elsewhere which would be epic and bring headlines. But the Punk storyline is epic!

I'd say Punk wins but the MITB winner (ADR?) cashes in and gets the title so Cena keeps his job. Vince specifically said that he would be fired if "Punk leaves the arena with the title".

 

I think it sucks but that's the most likely scenario, I guess. :/

Well there is no doubt his character is one of the best in the WWE for a while. (Particularly these past couple of weeks!) But I just find him so stale and boring in the ring, personally. I used to be a fan of his in-ring ability, but he's become boring and just as predictable as Cena for me :(

But that kinda comes naturally when someone turns heel. He can't do the "flashy" stuff that often anymore because the crowd would cheer for that. I'm sure he could still do it physically.

 

I still much prefer him as a heel than a face if he delivers great promos like last week. :wub:

 

And I think his matches with Rey are always awesome and some of them have been the best matches in the last years.

I went off him, sometime after the Suvivor Series Tag Match (when he teamed up with Hardyz, HHH & HBK) sometime. I realise not only were his moves rubbish (except his kicks and the GTS is still one of my favourite moves) but his character as a face, my GOD I don't think I've seen anyone so dull. Thank God for his heel turn.

Anyone remember this match with Mysterio. I remember watching it and went OUCH.

In other news Gail Kim has spoken up of the lack of the way WWE treats the Divas division. Saying her match against Beth Phoenix on Superstars a few weeks back was more than 3 minutes :lol: and the best in a long time saying she even prefers being on Superstars more than RAW because of these reasons.

 

I 100% agree with her too. The division is Crap now. The ones in the main Divas title picture (Sorry Kelly) are just there to help sell the WWE product. WWE aren't looking for divas who can actually wrestle, there are just helping bringing in stacks of cash. The way the matches and lengths are run are disgusting. You can see the crowd isn't interested anymore. They used to be as into the womens matches as the main event matches feauturing the guys too. It's really going downhill and it's disgusting. They need to stop p***ing around and actually help the Divas area instead of it making it meaningless.

 

Same goes for shoving Cena & Orton (I do like both) down our throats in the main events winning every match and not letting anyone put them over. It sucks and it's BOOOORING. Come on WWE can't you see the Truth........................ Obviously not because Vince doesn't care about what us lot wants.

 

A change needs to be made.

I completely agree with this. The WWE had no idea what to do with him as a face. That's a general problem they have with almost every face, IMO. I couldn't name one face on the current roster that's actually entertaining character-wise without having to think very hard. The most interesting guys are all heels (Punk, R-Truth, Christian, Cody Rhodes (you might disagree with this one but I think he had some great promos lately)).

But you put R-Truth in the "interesting heels" section :( The only "interesting" thing to come from Truth being a heel, are the "little Johnnies" and the fact we don't have to hear his $h!t entrance theme. :lol:

Truth has been AWESOME in promos in the last weeks if you ask me. :wub:

 

He kinda sucks in the ring and is totally not good enough to be in main event matches but I loved most of his promos. :D
