March 27, 201114 yr The Almost Saturday charts are not based on anything, they're essentially just a guess. Really? I thought they were the official positions? Whats the point in them if they aren't? They are normally correct though, even if they are just a guess in previous weeks. Still, I think its a bit weird that all these old songs are going up.
March 27, 201114 yr Well when the original is roughly a million times better than the remix, they should play that. that is only your opinion, theirs might have been different ;) Adele missed out? I know it's old but it was the first decent song in today's show... oh well Hello isn't bad but is definitely overplayed and ready to leave
March 27, 201114 yr MYFML has climbed again, that's 15 changes in direction. And they're skipping it even though it's a climber. Another random climb not seen in the mids, Martin Solveig back up 1. March 27, 201114 yr Lol @ MYFML going up again! I still like the song but kinda glad they didn't play it this week as it has been played practically every other week on the show!

March 27, 201114 yr that is only your opinion, theirs might have been different ;) Correct, but it's also an opinion shared by most on this forum. ;)
March 27, 201114 yr Really? I thought they were the official positions? Whats the point in them if they aren't? They are normally correct though, even if they are just a guess in previous weeks. Still, I think its a bit weird that all these old songs are going up. It's usually quite accurate (especially higher up), but I don't think it uses official sales figures or anything. Yay! Coming Home!!!! :cheer: One of my favourite songs in the chart. :)
March 27, 201114 yr It's true, new entries have had little effect on the chart really; with most of them falling out in a matter of weeks. As such, tracks like Adele and Rihanna are sitting comfortably in the top 40 for longer than they should be. Weird to have Enrique climb though, although I actually quite enjoyed listening to it this week. As for Adele, it was a skip much appreciated; absolutely despite 'Make You Feel My Love' now, it's tagged in my mind as an 'X-Factor' song and I don't think I'll be enjoying it again anytime in the future. As for 'Hello', that was just the song I needed to cheer me up this Sunday afternoon!

March 27, 201114 yr maybe these climbs are just down to it being a really quiet week? anyway, quite a big drop for this in comparison  Edited March 27, 201114 yr by chart wizard
March 27, 201114 yr now this is bad! instead of skipping this rap massacre, they skip Adele who's climbing, gutted.
March 27, 201114 yr 'Coming Home' is probably one of my favourite songs from 2011 this far, such a shame to see it fall 9 places. Hopefully it still has a couple more weeks in the top 40 though as I can't see 'Ass On the Floor' charting anywhere near the top 40.
March 27, 201114 yr It's true, new entries have had little effect on the chart really; with most of them falling out in a matter of weeks. As such, tracks like Adele and Rihanna are sitting comfortably in the top 40 for longer than they should be. Yeah, exactly. I've been amazed at the longevity some songs had, such as Yeah 3x, Rolling in the Deep, Champion, etc, but as you said, they had no competition. They just sit there on the front page of iTunes for 2 months. They'd've been somewhat drowned out if they were released late 2010.
