Oh well. AT LEAST I BEAT DANDY http://www.moopy.org.uk/forums/images/icons/disco.gif

I was hoping that you wouldn't notice that.

You will note that I deliberately made no reference to it and left it until the final vote. :D

Thanks for the points Martin. No, the other one :kink: Seriously, thanks

OK, sucky result, but at least it wasn't a nul points. Still it's better to be noticed than ignored :)

Daphne was the only song I liked this time that was a discovery. The rest of my top 5 I already knew and all the other points were given out randomly pretty much.

Anyway, congrats Pavel, a worthy winer in my eyes and thanks Dandy for hosting brilliantly as usual!

Oh and thank you for all the thank yous.

Despite my dramatic tendencies over the past couple of days, I have really enjoyed hosting it. ^_^

Nice ending, grats on winning Pavel.

My song was exactly the 7 points Thomsen gave me above his song :D

Wow, cheers Alin. :o Didn't think I'd see LaKroix get anywhere near that high a score.

I really like that track!

I take it Pavel is hosting the next one, or are you going for a second outing. :kink:

Well done Dandy, and well done at making me think I had come last, so I left and went to the gym to look at hot guys. :P

Thanks for all the votes guys and well done to Pavel.

I did want Active Child to win - it is sublime.

You did a great job!

Oh, and thanks for everyone's votes - I genuinely didn't think I would do that well this time, but I do love "Mirrors" so I'm glad that many others discovered this gem.

Actually really happy that both Games and Active Child both finished high up too.

And I think you should deduct 12 points from Pavel for not being here. Hehe. :P

Hurrah!

Dandy should do this again, although I'm sure Pavel would do just as well.

Congratulations Pavel (for winning UP5) and Dandy (for organising UP5)!

#10 for my entry (Phantogram - When I'm Small) is very good! Thanks to everyone who voted for this song (especially Grebo69 and Thomsen). Actually #10 & #11 have the same score (97 points).

Adam Tensta: Like A Punk really has great synth and sound manipulation work. I like it a lot.
Very happy with 7th, thanks for the 20! :D

Yay, top 10 with 111 points. My best result so far, I think. :D

Grats to the winner(s) and thx to Dandy for organizing/hosting and to everybody who voted for Turboweekend.

Not a fan of the winner, but I've discovered some fantastic music in this edition. I fully intend to buy the accompanying albums by Rollerskate Skinny, Stroke 9, Crocodiles and The Auteurs in the near future.
The Rollerskate Skinny album is reported to be a lost classic of the 90s which predates the likes of the Flaming Lips' work. I already have that Auteurs album. I must listen to it. I never have.

Obviously I'm biased but I think you would enjoy the Auteurs album.
