Welcome to another new player in the form of Jubbzy, glad to have you on board!

 

Also congratulations to Mr. Little Jeans who finally get a decent set of points scoring a maximum here pushing 'Angel' out of the bottom five for the first time in a very long while. High points for When Saints Go Machine push Thomsen back into the top 10, similarly Jubbzy's votes enable Active Child and Foster The People to close right in on Lia Ices and Games. A comparatively lowly 4 for Crocodiles actually extends their lead at the top.

Although I don't think this was the strongest set overall, I think I love my top 3 more than any other top 3 I've had.

After the initial disappointment, hopefully Tony is slightly more pleased with his progress now as Rollerskate Skinny sits in 12th.

 

A second maximum for Active Child does the most damage here, lifting I'm In Your Church At Night to within six points of the lead - this is a great result as the others in the top 7 only score one point between them. John Murphy returns to the top 10 and When Saints Go Machine continue to close the gap on those above them. Moi Caprice and Adam Tensta make the biggest moves lower down as they rise to 15th and 20th respectively. A 6 for the Guilty Hands enables them to close to a point of those above them. Mimicry alas remain rooted to the foot of the leaderboard and are STILL yet to score. :o

For the first time Active Child hold the top spot on their own, edging out Crocodiles who fail to score for the second set of votes in a row. A maximum 20 points sees West and Foster The People leap back into the top 3 and put themselves firmly in contention. Adam Tensta enjoys a second decent points haul in a row and jumps up again to 17th. Two Wounded Birds slip into the bottom three ( :( ) after only collecting 1 point from the past 13 sets of votes.

Urm... what to say? Perhaps nothing is the best option! Not that I wish to remind you of nothing. :D

 

In better news for those previously at the foot of the table, Tom Kay does give points to The Guilty Hands and in the process pushes them up from 27th to the top 20. Games leap back into the top 3 after scoring a maximum 20 here and make everything very tight between the top 3. Another high set of points for John Murphy sees him climbing yet again, definitely proving to be the surprise package of UPV for me.

Two Wounded Birds slip into the bottom three ( :( ) after only collecting 1 point from the past 13 sets of votes.

Like Doctor Blind mentioned, the standard this time was very consistant and made it difficult for me to list most of the tracks in an order I agreed with. Some of my votes are typically trademark Hits votes though. :D

So I was right about The Guilty Hands, and right about Rollerskate Skinny. Just need Si to have submitted the Auteurs and I'll have the hat trick.

 

Lust for Life by Girls was mine. I wanted to submit something other than the Northern Irish gems I've submitted the last three rounds and go for something a bit different. In hindsight, I should've gone for a more obscure song. Oh well, next time.

HUZZAH FOR MIMICRY! AUDIBLE GASPS ENSUE!

 

Hits once again defies all odds and logic with his votes as he finally gets The Storm off to a start of some sort. He also clearly LOVES Mr. Little Jeans as he dishes out both of his highest marks in that direction - They have now had two maximums to date yet still can't quite make it into the top half - however Rescue Song overhauls Angel in the mini race between them. (Best not mention that his votes push his own track back into the bottom 3)

 

Crystal Fighters sneak into the top 10 while Hits' votes return Crocodiles to the top position... can they hold on this time around?

Oh dear oh dear oh dear :drama: Mimicry was clearly a horribly misjudged entry but I had no ideas at all this month. But I had fun and made some discoveries and that's what it's all about right? :)

It hasn't scored many points in the past few sets of votes but it looks assured of another top 10 finish with only six votes left after his own.
