That's AMAZING. I need to dig out that Flopstars Go Bad thread. Paul Cattermole's transformation is PERFECT.

Whilst Jo's is completely apt! Even when I was 12, I could forsee that when she would be in her 30's/40's she'd be a disco-dancing mum parading around the clubs and falling out of taxis until well into her 50's. She looks just as I imagined she would at this point in those photos, right down to the ridiculously happy faces she's pulling, the hairstyle and her choice of clothes. It's fair to say that she was probably one of the least typically attractive pop band lead singer's there have been, but I also personally think that she had a better voice than anybody else doing the same thing. On the ballads especially, there was a touch of Karen Carpenter to her voice - powerful, yet with the ability to be subtle and reign it in when necessary. Completely underrated British vocalist imo.

Their first 8 singles were amazing! A slight decline after though, but I liked all their songs. Steps remain my favourite of the two groups.

Of course some of them have nostalgia value, but I do think they produced some pretty decent pop songs. I agree that they were easily better than Steps too.

Tina usually had a tan back in the day. Now she looks likes she's bathed in Daz! It's so weird seeing the band together again, it's like that pic of S Club 8 all back together again, although all them got hotter/buffer.. S Club 7 have the reverse effect

Where can I see this?

Amazing. S Club >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Steps! Easily.

EDIT:

Just seen that article on the first page... LMFAO! Amazing. Jo and Paul looked like they were trying to hard though. The rest of them just look embarassed! LOL. Rachel and (particularly) Hannah look amazing! Hannah was always the best until she chopped off her hair. But now, it sort of suited her.

Frankie & Bradley don't look great either.

Wrong band :P

Whilst Jo doesn't look the best, it is good to see her looking happy again after the whole race row crap. Hopefully the second album hasn't been shelved and she's still working on it! When I first saw Paul in the group photo I was like '...he doesn't look THAT bad.' and then it went to the close up and I suddenly went '...oh.' Also the comparison between SC8 and SC7 is really quite a weird one to make? SC8 aren't in their mid-30's and majority of them are still in the spotlight whereas SC7...

Also is it just me... or does Hannah look ginger?

But SC7 was such a huge part of my childhood lol, they were incredibly popular in my school... We even had somewhat of a tribute band... For some reason I was lead. And yes, we sang. I didn't think much of it then and I still don't but speaking to a few of my old classmates apparently we were good

wow at paul...when i think of what he looked like in Miami 7 and what he looks like now...its like night and day. But its nice to see them posing together, and yes im glad to see Jo looking happy, that whole Big Brother thing was ridiculously stupid.

Rachel looks amazing, i wish she'd come back and do another album, ive been listening to Come & Get It a lot lately, and wishing it was so much more successful than it was.

Jo was always my favourite and still is. Amazing vocalist imo, one of the best, along with Mel C, from the groups of the late 90's/early 00's. <3

Nice to see her enjoying herself too!

Paul looks absolutely DREADFUL.

Agreed, I was going to point out Melanie C in my post last night, except at least she went on to pretty good solo success. Jo managed a sole top 15 hit which was outpeaked by Cascada a mere two years later  Amazing song though (for me), absolutely adored What Hurts The Most

Same

I do prefer Cascada's dance version though. Rascall Flats version is good as well, it's just a beautiful song all around, really.

In this pic I think she sort of looks like a plump, well kept mid 40's housewife though.

I do feel sorry for Jo regarding the race-row still, she still seems to be deemed with the 'racist' tag somewhat - certainly more so than the others involved. (Danielle sodding Lloyd for example is no longer seen as a vile waste of air for some bizzare reason)
:puke: :puke2: Paul looks awful

She was the worst one as well, egging the others on and then sitting back all smug enjoying the chaos. She's digusting to look at :puke2:
