Well, I think it'll definitely get #1. Maybe not for 6 weeks like Born This Way, but definitely at least on the first week. Judas would be able to get #1 in the US on downloads alone pretty much, not to mention, Judas will get a lot of airplay from day one anyway. It won't have to spend weeks building up like other songs have to do.

No, Born This Way only beat On The Floor's first week total by a few thousand and Judas, as has been stated doesn't have that sort of hype Born This Way had. I think Judas will just pass 100k in the first week, but go on to sell around 600-700k, outselling BTW in the end.

Yes. But because GaGa's sales were counted for TWO charts (as she released on a Friday) they didn't add them together. Had GaGa sold 140k+ on Friday and Saturday, then GaGa would have been included. But it was spanning over one week and 2 days instead. (If that makes sense? :lol: - Anyone, Bray, Eric, Spiidey - could youword it into something easier for me haha!)

Do you mean, J-Lo sold more than Gaga in the chart week of her release, however, Gaga was released part way through the chart week, so if you simply count the first seven days of sales for each song, Gaga sold more.

 

The Kanye version of E.T. has now overtaken the album version. Although this now means it should finally get the top 10 effect soon, if the trend continues.

Question: Did 'Beautiful People' get removed from iTunes temporarily, it seemed to drop out of the top 100 earlier, when only yesterday I saw it at number 26.

 

Chris Brown's album was deleted from iTunes (so all the album tracks disappeared) and was then re-added.

I don't think its getting any airplay, although they played a 10 second clip of it on a local Birmingham Radio station on the weekend. The proceeds from the single go to charity though, so i hope it does get airplay so it can raise more money!!
