The track they think they're going with for the new single is indeed called Hard.

It was produced by The Invisible Men and is the track they told me was better than Freedom.

They only recorded it recently, Freedom was done months and months ago while they were still with Island.

No. Due to poor airplay, Freedom is now available for Free, via Amazon. A new lead single will follow.

Wow to think its come to this...you really would have though their management team would have pulled out all the stops to ensure this would be a success, but they've handled this worse than anything off the last album, that being said even if they did do everything right im not sure this would have gone any better than the S7 singles, i really doubt this new single, regardless of how good it is, will do any better unless their management pays Radio 1 to playlist the single.

I think the Sugababes career is looking over now. Can't believe freedom has been cancelled. Its not looking good and if radio arent going to support them then that says it all.

Right from the moment Keisha left, there's no musical credibility left in them whatsoever. The whole saga seems more like an internal power struggle amongst the girls, and not to mention that they changed their directions all of a sudden, and now all over the place.

I agree. Tbh, I wouldn't even be too upset if they split before releasing anything else now, it's just embarrassing. If their record label have decided to put 'Freedom' as 'free thank you to the fans' just days before the official release, I don't see how they'd be confident enough to continue the era.
