Oh, bad fan me  I thought they moved labels

Well, yes. They got dropped from Island/Universal and signed to RCA/Sony.

Snubbed by Radio 1 again, this week was the last chance tbh...
No CD? :???: It would be their first single that I don't buy :drama:

Yeah, I just realised there was no pre-order for it on HMV. Ridiculous. :(

I wasn't sure where to post this, but it does seem that RCA only has one settee :P

Sugababes interview:

Diana Vickers Wicked Wednesday acoustic session:

I found that quite funny, but that's probably just me! :D

Why is Diana Vickers there?

Seriously Jade? Mariah Carey?!

I was saying that they must only have 1 sofa at RCA seeing as Diana and the Babes both used the same sofa on their videos :P

its so sad they aren't getting radio support :(

sounds AMAZING when you play it full blast

oh well I'll still buy it on Friday :)

Their management are annoying me further by not even letting the fans know when the girls are promoting. -_-

I still cannot believe RCA is not releasing a physical single...

It can do wonders for artists like them.

Example:

Nicola Robert's Lucky Day...

Peak iTunes: #67

Peak Amazon: #85

Peak HMV Digital: Not even on chart...

Today's Midweeks:

#19

She released a physycal single only in her website.... It will fall like a rock comes Sunday, obviously, low Top 40 or so... but if it wasn't for the physical, this will struggle to be Top 75.

I think the Babes still have a fan base (a lot smaller now, I know) that will buy a single to "complete their collections"... and they could be like 10 places higher or so with a physical... I think.

The physical didn't do wonders for 'Wear My Kiss' though. It was at #7 in the chart with #5 peak in iTunes. But it could help the Sugababes shift additional 1k copies I think... It's not much to bother for RCA it seems.

It does not make a difference when you're high already on iTunes as sales are higher on the Top 10...

But it did wonders for No can do, for example... I can't remember where NCD peaked on iTunes, but it was like 20 places below its final position on the official chart.... and it was thanks to the physicals.

In the NCD period the group had a much bigger fanbase though, and that was a much milder climate for the physicals.

For the record, I'm only *for* the physicals, I'm just trying to explain why RCA snubbed the physicals.

There's rumours that they will be officially splitting tomorrow :/ Apparently they have just held a press conference

Popjustice said this - The thing is though, while I've heard nothing about Sugababes splitting up tomorrow, nor have I heard anything about them not splitting up.

They should at least wait until the weekend so that 'Freedom' can benefit from the news about them etc!

Would be a shame if true though. =[
