'This Ain't A Love Song' was ok for what it was but I never expected to see it #1. I was expecting Plan B to dominate the singles chart a year ago with 'She Said' but alas it never happened.

Random fact with a tiny connection to this week's album chart:

I find very interesting that Whitney Houston's The Greatest Hits beat both 'Oops I Did It Again' and 'The Marshall Mathers LP' on UK charts in spring 2000. Both Oops and TMMLP sold well over million copies in the US in their first weeks of release.

As today, Britney doesn't have a No. 1 album but Eminem has six in a row starting from TMMLP which reached No. 1 in July 2000.

I'm actually going to listen to the chart today! I haven't done that since waaay back when I used to be Chart mod and do the Sunday reveal. Nostalgic.

I do it every week, thanks for noticing :P I see M!key won't be around to remind me this time though, I'll try to remember to post it around 6:30.

I know you do, but I meant starting it earlier :P

Was that back when Fearne hosted it along with Reggie? Beware, now Reggie is solo he's got far, far worse :(

I can start it now if you want?

I think that was possibly before Fearne and Reggie!

You would hate CCN (Celeberity Chart Numbers) - one of the most pointless features of any radio show in existance. Reggie likes to skip songs too and read out texts and likes anything that has nothing to do with the charts. Scott Mills is better at hosting this

Gina G  One of the greatest Eurovision entries we ever had clearly!

I hate the Scouting For Girls song :puke:

SFG was the most unpredictable number one of last year, never saw it coming. Hate the song, Plan B could have been number one, well at least he's sold more. When SFG shot to number one on iTunes it was a WTF moment, as was when Wanted went number one with ATL

I don't like this Wretch/Example song. Please don't go to number 1

Unorthodox  Really hope this is #1 3 weeks from today

Agreed :D

Then hopefully Example can get his 2nd number 1 after that with Changed the Way You Kissed Me

I liked it at the time, and was happy when it got #1, but I can't listen to it now. :(
