April 3, 201115 yr My mum loves old rock like Springsteen and Bowie but I still bought her "21" and she loved it  My mum loves "Hometown Glory", but hates everything else because her voice goes through her!
April 3, 201115 yr Dr Dre, he could be my doctor any day of the week  This. :D I love this song. Hopefully it will get him to HURRY UP and finish his album! :drama:

April 3, 201115 yr Not really, everyone goes on about her all the time and she under performs. This seems to me she is overrated! OVERRATED??!!?!??!?!?!!! SOMEONE HOLD MY WIG..... Edited April 3, 201115 yr by IfUSeeBritney
April 3, 201115 yr I can't imagine people Rihanna as Mother's Day gifts  Husbands want some S&M. That's why.
April 3, 201115 yr OVERRATED??!!?!??!?!?!!! SOMEONE HOLD MY WIG..... Overrated????!!!!??? Hold my medication & my baby  And yay! Rihanna, "Loud" has probably been her biggest era so far? or GGGB still the biggest one?
April 3, 201115 yr Husbands want some S&M. That's why. This. It's more a gift to the men than the women tbh. :D
April 3, 201115 yr I don't think 'on air on sale' works that well with artists that have been around for a long time. Just look at TTWE... It could have been a top 10 hit or even higher with frontloaded sales, video and general promotion. HIAM would probably have gone top 3 too... It wouldn't surprise me if a non-fan didn't even realise that she has a new album out. What OAOS does is somewhat cancels out the frontloading that established acts get from fanbase buys. If casual buyers aren't buying the song when it's first out, it's just the core fans so the initial peak may be lower. Where acts like Britney and Foo Fighters have struggled is that they release their albums not long after the 'flop' single which gives it no time to build momentum and reclimb. The former doesn't seem to have gotten boosted album sales from this, I'd imagine the Foos will though. Their documentary being out on Friday will only serve to increase hype and I still reckon "Wasting Light" will enter at no.1 as I'd imagine that many people will have been waiting to buy "21" until this week and its sales will start to drop more quickly now - maybe 150k next week and 100k the week after.
April 3, 201115 yr Only #8 for Broken Record :( It's a real shame this is her lowest peaking single (aside from Perfect Stranger which wasn't hers) behind Lights On which is terrible compared to this and KOAM. I'll just hope this can somehow stick around for a decent amount of time but I can already tell it'll only be top 40 for about 6 weeks max :( Edited April 3, 201115 yr by Bray
April 3, 201115 yr Adore 'Broken Record', should've done so much better given it's her best single to date :(. Hope her album can do well next week, it's stunning.

April 3, 201115 yr Broken Record = favourite song at the moment! Though it wasn't the number one smash that I thought it would be. I thought it was going to outpeak 'Lights On,' it's better imo. :(
April 3, 201115 yr Author OVERRATED??!!?!??!?!?!!! SOMEONE HOLD MY WIG..... As in she is bigged up to do better than she does. Oh dear, I will incur the wrath of Britney stans now.
April 3, 201115 yr I reckon Broken Record would have only made top 30 if the album had already been out.
