Officially confirmed - Brian will present the main show with Emma Willis presenting BBLB.

 

I'm a bit disappointed tbh, I really dislike Brian :( I love Emma though, I watch both BB and BBLB but I'd rather swap them round tbh and have more of more of Emma!

No surpises for either of them then! is it deffo starting on the 18th of August aswel?

I liked Brian as a housemate, but as presenter I'm really not sure. Definitely would have prefered the job to go to Emma, though I suppose her presenting BBLB means she can be drafted in if Dowling is a disaster.

Good to hear Marcus Bentley is back though.

BBLB is also being re-named to Big Brother's bit on the side which I really like. Not sure when it'll be on, they could put it on 5* but then they might not get as many viewers, or they could potentially put it in OK!TV's time slot at 6:25 every day.

It didn't look great in a small version, on signs being carried by ex-housemates as part of new adverts, but in HQ I do really like it. Very different to how C4 used to do it, and by changing the host and have a completely different eye design, C5 can go forward and make its own mark, rather than just being a direct continuation from C4 (probably not the right way of phrasing, hope people get what I mean).

 

It's meant to set the tone, 'straight talking, direct & not afraid to be different'.

 

Short teaser clips should air from today during commercial breaks.

 

 

The eye looks better in the clips as well, imo.

I actually think it looks quite good in the concept of the teaser trailer - a bit plain by itself though, but I'm glad they used a new design, rather than continuing the old one. I'm still really looking forward to this, and hope it's better than the past few series.

Without wanting promo overload, this one may make people start liking the eye a bit more as they play with it a bit

 

I'm guessing Daniel Eatock got booted off the design team then? :blink:

Same here, I'm so ridiculously excited for this and X Factor. I need my Reality TV fix! :(

Quite excited for this. My only concern is the fact I was scarred by the awfulness that was Back To Reality. Hopefully Big Brother won't be quite as awful, but I suspect it won't be as good as it was on Channel 4.
