It is worse if a rubbish song does well. It makes you hate it more.

I like the live version more than the album version. The album version kind of grates for some reason. I think it is the faster melody.

Fixed. :D

Most of my favourite songs this year have been mentioned multiple times too, but it's called having different tastes. I like Adele, but I guess some people don't. I can see why people don't like Someone Like You. I like it, since it has a very nice catchy melody, but I can understand why some people find it boring. And stations like Heart FM might give it the Empire State of Mind treatment, which is worrying, since if they do, people might look back on Someone Like You in a few years time in the same way that people look back on You're Beautiful today (which is NOT a good thing). :(

Please no. i don't think any song can get in the same leak of disgusting boredom that You're Beautiful brings.

Yeah, I hope that doesn't happen. I mean, Someone Like You is a good song, maybe a bit overrated, but I still think it's good. Radio could ruin it tbh, since it's that type of song, and I'd rather people hear it in a few years occasionally, and be like "Oh, I remember, I used to love that song!", rather than "Oh, it's Adele again...".

Why not just judge the song on its own merits? That's a very silly attitude to take...

Mind you, I don't care for Someone Like You either. Rolling in the Deep is much better. I haven't heard the rest of her album yet.

How exactly? If I keep hearing Someone Like You then i am gonna dislike it more. It makes sense to me :(

I'm inclined to go with 'Black & Yellow' myself. Was fine the first time I heard it but the second listen I wanted to gouge my eyes out. Lyrics shouldnt be allowed to be that annoying!

'Grenade' and 'Down On Me' a close second and third I'd say.

Enrique with "Tonight I'm f***in' You" is a close second for me. Attention-seeking crap, "I Like It" was the same and "Hearbeat" was just dull.

Beating it has to be Jodie Connor's "Now or Never" - mainly because the lyrics are beyond ghastly.

I forgot about this, some of the worst lyrics ever and this song has ruined her career. Her new song isn't very good either
