Its home made soup as well, the first time I have ever made soup!

I've never made homemade soup, but if you can make it properly the taste is divine. (sp?). :o All homemade soup always tastes nicer than tinned soup. ^_^

If it's any consolation... the nearest thing to 'cooking' I can do is sticking beans in the microwave for 2 and a half minutes

Cookings pretty easy. :D Well if you can get the hang of it. I hate making stuff from scratch though. :arrr:

I used to be c**p at cooking, but now I'm not bad

I need to be good at cooking. :( I kinda got roped into taing Food as a GCSE you see. :(

The only thing I ever made that was edible was flapjack, as part of a Food Tech project in year 9.

It was the only thing I made that didn't get an F

I'm targeted an A for Food. :o

Most people say my cooking is very good. :o And the exams aren't too hard, just VERY long. I had a two hour mock exam last May which I finished in an hour. :arrr:

My cousin took food tech at GCSE level and he says there was a lot to remember for it

I can remember going down his the day before the exam, and he had a massive pile of sheets spread all over the floor that he had to learn! I thought "You poor sod"

I don't think theres that much to remember...

60% of it is coursework now. And for the exam you get like a prep sheet a month before the eam which tells you what the eam is gonna be about so you can revise everything you need to know very easily.

Yeah you have to draw how the products will look like.

A lot of the cirriculum (sp?) for subjects has changed over the past few years.

If that had been the case when i'd taken it all I would have had to draw was a pile of black mush for each project

About 3 years ago there used to be an inspector that would come and examine all the food if I remember correctly. :o

Now though you just take a picture with it on a Digital Camera and put it on your coursework. So even if it looks bad you can still get away with it a bit.

Your Pizza must have been bad then. :(

I think i've only ever made one pizza. :o But I need to make another one as its one of my six products I have to make. :o

My pizza was nothing short of a disaster... I forgot half of the ingredients, overcooked it and then I think I dropped it on the floor just before the teacher was due to come round to look at it

Still, the look on her face when I showed her it was priceless... a sort of mixture between disgust, shock and anger

Not all of them but it's not exactly healthy and I'd suggest bothering to learn to cook proplerly for yourself before going :P

It's fun sometimes but I suppose it's just the price you pay with these assignments.
