I'm sorry but i hope to god that that Wretch and example person don't get to #1. The song is jarring and Example just pisses me off. Do any of you honestly see it beating of GaGa?

 

No way will it win and if it does it will be the worst number one of the year, even more than We R Who We R!!!

Still no sign of Judas on the feed AFAICT (here or in the USA).

 

I'll need to give it a listen, there seems to be a much better reaction to it than BTW.

I like Wretch but Example is annoying beyond belief, I think they will go Top 10 but have little chance of going to No 1.

Listening to it again, and going on the comments from GaGa and the director on how she is retelling the story/video, it seems as if she is saying she(Mary) is having an affair with Judas. IF this is true, and is depicted in the video, f**k me the Christians will be coming for her ass.

 

Um, isn't there like three Marys in the Bible though. So, do you know which Mary she's playing? That'd make a lot of difference. Although I'm not a Christian, so I'm probably wrong here. :lol:

 

Also, Lady Gaga herself is a Christian. I read somewhere that she's actually an ordained minister. So any Christians that get upset will just be mis-interpreting her. And seriously, isn't there like 1,000,000,000 Christians on the planet? Let's count how many of them actually get offended then! :lol:

The Pre-Order for Unoxodox is at 36 on the album chart - so pre-orders for it are quite big.

 

Going off the general reception of the song so far, it might not be as big as people are expecting.

 

Well there was a fake version in the top 300 not long ago and I've been seeing the video a *lot*. I'd be really surprised if it's not #3 at the least. I think it could still get to #1 ahead of GaGa... but I guess we shall find out in time.

And what do you mean 'going off the general reaction'? Most people on this site think it's far better than Traktor. I'd say there's been overall a POSITIVE reaction to it...

Listening to Judas - there's basically some good bits; but then goes off into bland territory when she stands banging on about 'being in love with Judas'.

 

The song falls flat - its a good song; but a bit erm... inconsistant

I see what you mean. I mean, I don't really care for Christians, but I think she's good in some ways because she's kind of representing the liberal younger generation of them. The Christians that normally voice their opinions are the older conservative ones, who can be very controversial sometimes, whilst the younger generation of them tend to be a bit more relaxed about it, so much that they don't really get themselves heard as much in the public sphere.

 

Some people are a bit dim and think every single Christian is the same, but at least Lady Gaga (and Katy Perry, etc.) are out there in the public eye showing that they're not. So she's good in that way, even if she does perhaps need to be a bit more cautious about mis-using symbols that mean a lot to some people. :lol: But again, I think she had good intentions with the rosary beads, for example, just some people didn't understand and thought she was mocking them or something.

Well considering the song has only been avaliable for just over an hour, I doubt there will be many people calling it her best song yet since it's a bit too soon to say that. I can easily say it's one of her best for me, at the moment.

Stanning over Judas!! :wub: Best thing I've heard since Bad Romance! :o I managed to catch it on Radio 1 AND Capital but I'm my Wii browser thanks to dead PC so can't d/l or anything :( I can only listen on YT!
